Olivedo Lido In Varenna

Arriving around 12:45 p.m., we were lucky enough to find a table in the front row overlooking the lake. Drinks are slightly pricey. However, we ordered an excellent pizza.

We didn't have any of the food here but they have very good cocktails. The negroni and americano (cocktail) are delicious, and converted me entirely. I used to hate negronis!

A great place to have a coffee or other drink and enjoy the lake in the sunshine. I can't rate the food, but I didn't try it.

Nice bar restaurant with a beautiful terrace and view of the lake, affordable cocktails, the food is quite good. Negative point: the service is slow and the server is more than indelicate.

Quaint no charge beach. Watch out for the ferries

We had a lovely lunch at Olivedo today. The service was great and the food was delicious. They ran out of the menu item that two of us ordered and when I changed to an item that was more expensive they didn’t charge me the extra. That’s what I call going above and beyond.

The food was okey, but the wait was not. Waited 40min for the food and then another 40min for the dessert. Asked the staff for the dessert three times but still took too long. If u Are in a hurry, and just want a quick bite. Dont come here

A pesar de que era principios de mayo Varena se sintió bastante ocupada, así que decidimos caminar más lejos de la ciudad para comer. No necesitábamos ir muy lejos antes de que el propietario del restaurante nos preguntara si queríamos echar un vistazo dentro del restaurante. Está situado mirando hacia el lago con hermosas vistas. A pesar de haber solo un par de personas allí decidimos quedarnos a comer. Nos alegramos de haberlo hecho, nos sentamos al lado de las ventanas, así que eran cálidos también! Tomamos un par de ensaladas acompañadas de un hermoso pan caliente. Nos persuadieron de comer una tarta de limón de postre más un shakerato de café (como un licor de café sin alcohol). Todos estaban deliciosos. El servicio fue atento. Fue una pena que el restaurante no estuviera más ocupado porque la calidad de la comida era genial.
