We dined there 30th of December 2024. The food was really good and the service was excellent.
Lucca is a spectacular destination and a visit to Piazza Amfiteatro is reccommended.
Pleasant environment and good Tuscan cuisine in a quiet restaurant overlooking the most beautiful square in Lucca. The pici cacio e pepe is highly recommended.
I took the pappardelle with wild boar and the Lucchese ravioli they were really excellent especially the ravioli...then the nice thing is that they can also make pizza both in the afternoon and in the evening (I haven't tried pizza)

Reported on some platforms with a rating of 9, we weren't bad, the food was of a good standard but not exceptional, the price of the glass of wine was a bit high at €8 for a good DOC from the area.
Prenotato con The Fork per un venerdì a pranzo in un weekend di visita a Lucca. Cameriere molto attente e cordiali, primi molto buoni e porzioni generose. Abbiamo assaggiato i tordelli al ragù di chianina e le pappardelle al cinghiale, entrambi davvero gustosi (i tordelli sono stati spazzolati anche da mia figlia che di solito non mangia esageratamente). Buona anche la crema catalana. Prezzo nella media, considerato che si trova in pieno centro a Lucca (piazza dell'Anfiteatro): con lo sconto del 20% per la prenotazione di The Fork, abbiamo speso 50€.
