As a group of 10 they quickly made up some tables even though it was busy, the service was friendly and the food was good. It’s not the best food we have had but it was very good value and decent portions.

Old Charlie’s was ok - decent food, similar prices to elsewhere, but the service we received was hit and miss. There are plenty of better places in the Anfiteatro.

We had a wonderful evening at Old Charlie's. We ate very well, the pizza was very good! The owner is very business-oriented; it's really nice as a tourist to have such nice people behind the counter. See you soon!

A very nice place to sit. The Aperol Spritz with bruschetta for €6 is simply a must-have. In my opinion, they also offer original Aperol. The bruschetta is very tasty. Anyone who complains should show me something else for a better price. The food is also highly recommended. The pizza is very tasty, the crust is top-notch. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant and would be happy to return.

Stato a cena in questo ristorante e devo dire che è stata una piacevole scoperta! Servizio cordiale-preciso e rapido. Piatti abbondanti e soprattutto buoni. Qualità/prezzo = OTTIMA Se qln si trova a Lucca consiglio vivamente di andare a mangiare da old charlie piazza anfiteatro

Siamo andati in questo ristorante molto carino in piazza anfiteatro, ho mangiato un primo e una tagliata di manzo, la carne ottima!! Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, ottimo servizio i camerieri sempre sorridenti e disponibili. Velo consiglio assolutamente!!

02/08/2025: We had dinner here somewhat by chance, looking for a pizzeria in the towns near our accommodation... a revelation!! The appetizer was made with quality ingredients and excellent fried dough to accompany it, and then the pizzas... a spectacle! Large, well-filled, thin and crispy... special... the owners are down-to-earth, attentive to your needs, and very kind... we'll recommend this place to everyone!
