Delicious at very good value for money

I went to this place today, but I'd actually been there before and wanted to go back while I was in Bologna. The ingredients are excellent, the food is good, and the cuisine is typical of Puglia. Not only that, you can enjoy focaccia, pizza, and first and second courses. The staff are very helpful and kind, and the prices are good considering it's just a stone's throw from the center. Highly recommended!

I visited Officina dei Sapori in Bologna on Via Riva di Reno: a charming and welcoming place, with a warm atmosphere and a distinct southern touch—personally, it reminded me a bit of Southern Italy. The food was truly delicious: we ordered focaccia, cured meats, cheeses, burrata, a first course, and a few main courses—all fresh, beautifully presented, and with authentic flavors. The eggplant parmigiana and burrata in particular deserve praise; the focaccias were also tasty and plentiful. The staff was kind and helpful, even giving us a loaf of bread made that day: a simple gesture that conveys the care and attention they give to their customers. The only drawback is that the space isn't huge—if you're in a large group, it can get a bit cramped—and there can be a wait at times, especially if the place is busy. Overall, however, it's an excellent choice for a casual dinner, an aperitivo with friends, or a meal with good value. Highly recommended for lovers of Apulian and Mediterranean cuisine, and for those looking for a welcoming and unpretentious place in Bologna.
