Ochsenalm In Rio di pusteria

A very beautiful alpine pasture that's easily accessible from the cable car. The various play areas make it a great destination for families with children.

We only drink at the Ochsenalm, as the hut is just a stopover on our route. Everyone is very friendly, and the Alpen Spritz and coffee specialties are excellent.

Today with family we went to this place where we had a great time. We also visited the enchanting place, which I highly recommend to those who love the mountains. In particular we thank the managers, very kind, for helping us to come down from up there. An occasion that we will never forget. A thousand and a thousand thanks.

We visited various alpine pastures in the area, but this one was the absolute highlight ❤️

A quaint little mountain hut above the Jochtalbahn mountain station. Great views, friendly service, and incredibly delicious dumplings—the best we've had in a long time! All at a fair price. The short climb (about 20 minutes) is definitely worth it and saves you from the typical crowds at the mountain restaurant, which nobody really needs. The nearby playground is a dream for kids.

The food is top-notch and plentiful. Very friendly and attentive staff, and the prices are absolutely fair. A fantastic mountain view and a lovely playground right next door. The Zirpelschnaps is highly recommended.

That something like this still exists! South Tyrolean cuisine at its best. The dumpling Tris was fantastic and the best I've had in a long time (and I eat it regularly), the salad was fresh, the service was very friendly and the prices were very fair. Absolute recommendation! And if you're lucky, there's a homemade hay schnapps at the end. ;-)

The menu has a limited selection, but the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly, although it took a little while for them to come to us since we were sitting outside. The atmosphere was calm, as we were there around 2 PM.
