Last night, after a long day exploring the splendid city, we stopped in the middle of Spaccanapoli at a place that, unfamiliar with it, might seem like just another place. But... Absolutely not. Cerriglio Spaccanapoli stands out from the rest for countless details, from the kind, attentive, and thoughtful staff, capable of offering advice without making you feel uncomfortable, to the undeniably good and tasty quality of the products, plus decidedly generous portions. Fast service, and to top it all off, an excellent quality/price ratio. We'll be back tonight 😀

Absolutely delicious! We lived close by and went there three times. We tried pasta: zucchini, carbonara, seafood (not shellfish!), battered seafood, meatballs, and much more. We loved EVERYTHING! Absolutely delicious! I'd especially like to mention the house white wine; it's simple, but very easy to drink and delicious.

I found the service quite bad. The staff are rude. You call to order something, and they ignore you or are extremely rude. The food isn't that good; I found the pizza too salty and with too little cheese.

A typical Neapolitan trattoria in Spaccanapoli.
O' Cerriglio is a restaurant and pizzeria located at Via San Biagio dei Librai 13, in the heart of Spaccanapoli, one of the liveliest and most characteristic thoroughfares in Naples' historic center.
The page you are viewing describes it as offering:
traditional Neapolitan cuisine,
fast service,
family atmosphere,
dine-in, takeout, and home delivery.
The name "Cerriglio" recalls one of Naples' oldest and most legendary taverns, established in 1600 and frequented by artists, poets, musicians, and celebrities.
The most famous was the Locanda del Cerriglio, remembered for a historic episode:
👉 in 1609, the painter Caravaggio was attacked and disfigured there during his stay in Naples.
The current O' Cerriglio is not the same historic inn, but it inherits its name and popular tradition, maintaining an ideal connection with that Naples of taverns, art, and street life.

Everything was good and high-quality.
But a €35 platter of cured meats and cheeses is a bit too much.
The platter was long, but not full or rich—let's say normal!
Otherwise, I have no complaints.
