during a road trip in Italy -
and ordered a starter and main course + water and
1 glass of wine (I was driving).
A small appetizer was served + different types of bread with the meal

A very beautiful place overlooking the hills of Bologna.
The place is simple but very well presented.
The service is truly excellent, and compared to what other reviews (few) have stated, it's truly impeccable.
A negative note is the ragù, as I found it to have a slightly acidic aftertaste.
It will improve.

I'll start by saying that I had two good first courses and was served by an extremely friendly lady (not the same one who took our order).
BUT, the outrageous bill really shocked me.
The red and white wine, for their respective prices, were €0.37...excessive!
As for the "crescentine and sliced meats," it would have been appropriate to ask if it was enough for one person without assuming a double portion... mediocre sliced meats, for that matter.
Desserts were good, but in small portions, €7 each was absurd!

1 water
1 grappa
€115.............hmm.
I'm sorry, but all things considered, we'll never return.

I've been for both lunch and dinner. The food is excellent. The "wrong" Bolognese cutlet was fantastic. The tortellini in broth was perfect. The bill was good. The service was excellent! I'm giving it 4 stars because of a response I received from the young waiter.

Nice restaurant with a pleasant veranda, friendly and kind owner and staff. Excellent traditional dishes with some innovation, generous portions, very good first courses and crescentine, really super grilled meat, top homemade desserts: highly recommended the buffalo milk ice cream served with oil and salt, the grapefruit sorbet, but also the ice cream with cooked cherries ... all delicious.

Nice restaurant with a large room and a nice and fresh veranda. Family atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent traditional Bolognese first courses. Interesting dishes that follow the seasons. Excellent gramigna with sausage seasoning. You can eat second courses such as guinea fowl and rabbit but also crescentine with typical seasonings. Too bad the waiting times are quite long.

Piatti davvero squisiti con ingredienti di qualità, risotto con barbabietole e gocce di stracchino, tortellini, tortelloni di ricotta in salsa verde, cotoletta alla bolognese, crescentine con affettati.
