I returned last night to this historic restaurant, which serves excellent Milanese cuisine. The braised cheek was the best I've had in a while. The service was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and simple yet refined. One of my favorite places in Milan. The only drawback is the two evening sittings.

First time. Very welcoming and lively place. Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent value for money. Very popular with young people, too.

A pleasant restaurant in central Milan offering solid local cuisine. The atmosphere was relaxed despite the restaurant being fully booked. We ate really well. The bread basket was delicious. The service was excellent: professional, fast, and always on point. The staff and the owner know their trade well and make guests feel at ease. The prices were reasonable.

The food was delicious. The restaurant was a bit small, with tables spaced far apart, but it had a very cozy feel.

What can I say? Everything was perfect!!! Today, I had lunch at this little restaurant near the Arena. Fast service, delicious sourdough bread, top-quality olive oil, and each dish was more delicious than the last, all handmade. Real mashed potatoes, exquisite nervetti, chicken alla diavola as it should be, perfectly cooked spaghetti, and an excellent wine recommendation... I love coming back to this little Milanese gem again and again.

While wandering around Milan, and at the suggestion of a friend, we went to eat at this family-run restaurant, serving traditional Milanese dishes. I immediately knew it would go from the way they welcomed us: a smile and a kindness and professionalism that's almost unheard of in restaurants these days. We ordered traditional dishes, like saffron risotto and "cosetta dressed" (a kind of dressed pasta), and the food was spectacular. To finish, we had pears caramelized in red wine...a delight. The staff were extremely kind, and the welcome was top-notch. This place is now on my bucket list, and whenever I can, when I return to Milan, I'll definitely return. The price may seem high, but we're practically giving the best of Milan and the quality of the food is top-notch. So, it's fine, it's justified. I RECOMMEND RESERVING BECAUSE IT'S SMALL.

The place is very well decorated, I'd say with a vintage feel. I really liked the tableware: white with pink flowers. But the highlight is the pear and chocolate cake, one of the best I've ever had; you could taste the quality! The pasta with white ragù was also very good. I highly recommend this place!

Nice restaurant but found it too expensive!

I've been going to Gianni's for decades now... a guarantee for the quality of food and hospitality in Milan. All the products are top-notch, the dishes are always excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I—and my daughters too—feel right at home here, with the same warm atmosphere you get when you're at home. The guests are also very high-profile, you'll find the 🔝 of the people who matter, and it's not your usual place for last-minute "posh" people: the only flaw... it's a den of AC Milan fans! 😂
