Exactly what you want when you’re looking for a locals-only spot or a traditional family restaurant.. Nice and intimate atmosphere, excellent homestyle cooking. Amazing Mondeghili and Risotto Milanese, two house specialties that cannot be missed. I had some doubts the food would be this good and it was even better than expected. Such a pleasant evening overall.

You enter through a small door and always feel like you're transported back in time!
We started with a tartare and mondeghili, a classic Milanese dish, delicious—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Next was a cutlet (we weren't crazy about this one, as it was too thin), and the risotto with ossobuco, very creamy and tender.
To finish the meal, they also make daidai bocconcini (vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate)!

On our last night in Milan we decided to try a restaurant close to our apartment, and we are so happy we ate here. Everything was delicious and the staff were kind and attentive!

I was looking for a spot to drop by for dinner and Nicolo managed to get me a table here despite being fully booked. I’m so glad he did because the food was delicious! I got the Osso Bucco with risotto and the spaghetti and both where amazing…I will be back with friends!

Excellent Milanese restaurant in the heart of Milan, behind Parco Sempione. Every dish is perfectly executed, we had the battered vegetables, the French tartare (extremely good!) with perfect potatoes and asparagus and eggs. The entire service was impeccable. I highly recommend it if you want to try the true Milanese cuisine!

One of my favorite restaurants in Milan has a fantastic atmosphere with Gianni and Nicolo, who make you feel at home with their excellent food! I can't wait to be back. Ossobuco and Cotoletta are a must-try!
