Magnificent and delicious meal, impeccable and friendly service. Update: We returned to Nugolo on our last evening in Florence to experience the tasting menu. It was a wonderful family evening. All the dishes were delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. One of our very good memories of our two weeks in Tuscany.

By far the best restaurant in Florence. After a few days in the city all of the menus start to blend together, but Nugolo stands out. It remains true to the classic ingredients in Tuscany but adds a modern twist without trying too hard. I can’t recommend enough if you are looking for a memorable meal during your trip to Florence. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the wine list is thoughtful and unique. Five stars!

We had the pleasure of dining next to the open kitchen, a real feast for the eyes, where it was fascinating to see the dishes take shape while we waited. The restaurant is managed by a young team who knows how to make customers feel at ease. The service is kind, cheerful and always attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. We opted for the 7-course tasting menu, and each dish surprised us with simple but elaborate flavors with attention to the smallest details. The quality of the raw materials is evident in every bite, and their workmanship is truly impeccable. In addition to the wine selection, the restaurant offers an interesting choice of alcoholic drinks, artisanal organic soft drinks and non-alcoholic cocktails. We opted for a "Hugo" alcoholic drink and a sweet non-alcoholic drink, truly delicious. Nugolo is a true jewel in Florence, a perfect place for those who appreciate high quality cuisine and refined culinary experiences in a welcoming, warm and romantic place. A restaurant that leaves its mark and that we will certainly visit again. Thanks to all the staff for giving us an unforgettable evening!

We ordered for the ala cart and every dish we had was delicious. It was fine dining but in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Staff were super nice and friendly.

Came here after seeing this restaurant from Stanley Tucci’s Italian food documentary like many other folks here. The food was very fresh, (ordered celeriac carpaccio, octopus pasta, pork fillet), offering unique twist on the florentine classics. Also enjoyed seeing the open kitchen and chefs preparing food in real time. The staff were also helpful in calling a taxi for us at the end of the meal.
