Beste Pistaziengranita während unseres Sizilienurlaubs hier genossen. An wenigen Tischchen kann man auch sitzen. Ansonsten ist es klein, aber fein. Auch Mitbringsel aus Pistazien findet man hier reichlich.

Das Novè in Taormina ist vermutlich die Institution für alles rund um Pistazien. Hier wird gefühlt alles aus und mit Pistazien angeboten. Neben dem Cafe, gibt es auch einen Shop mit diversen Produkten. Ich probierte dort Pistaziengranita und den Espresso Pistacchio. Wirklich sehr gut!

We absolutely wanted to taste the Bronte pistachio. We found a fabulous welcome at Nove, everything is pistachio in this place and in all its forms! DOP products (pesto, cream, cakes, ice cream….and it’s full of pistachio, an explosion of pistachio! My regret...not being able to eat pasta with pistachio pesto in the store...victims of their success! It's torn! Grazie per la vostra gentilezza!

26/11/2024: Simply wonderful. Small, tranquil alley, small chairs and tables made from wine crates in front of it, rustically furnished inside - what was promised visually was even exceeded by the wine. We're not big wine connoisseurs, we said we like a dry Lugana - he recommended a local wine. In short: the best we have ever drunk. We also ate a bruschetta, the selection was limited because not all the ingredients were available in winter (so everything is fresh!) - but still a very good little piece of bread for a reasonable €2.50. If you want to have a drink before dinner: go here!

12/11/2024: A lovely pastry shop in Taormima selling traditional Italian delicacies. I bought the strawberry cannoli as I had never seen one like that before. It was delicious but not what I expected. The filling tasted more like a custard than a sweet ricotta and the casing was quite thick but very crisp and crumbly. Great value for money
