Nova, Bar Trattoria In Milano

This trattoria is exactly what we foreigners who don't always go for the most touristy spots hope to find. It has a very clear menu, with options for appetizer, first course, main course, and dessert. You can order the set menu by choosing your preferred combination or order individual dishes. The waitress and owner is a real gem: an Italian grandmother who embodies all the stereotypes, but in the best possible way. The chef, who is also the owner and her husband, completes a truly authentic experience. We went for lunch to celebrate my daughter's first birthday, and they thoughtfully prepared a special dish for her, following all our instructions. There were eight of us, and we all left extremely happy. I also want to point out that they don't accept cards; only cash or instant bank transfer. In any other place, this might seem like a drawback, but here, even that detail is part of the tradition and charm of the place. Plus, it's inexpensive. What more could you ask for? I’ve been to Rome, Florence, and Milan. This restaurant was definitively the best I’ve ever been to in this country. The owners are sweethearts, the decor is entrancing, and this was authentic, quality Italian cuisine

An extremely pleasant experience. The vintage atmosphere takes you back to the legendary 1970s. Excellent home-cooked food. Mrs. Giovanna, who served us, is very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We'll definitely be back!
