My family and I had lunch here today. Excellent dishes, delicious and with quality raw materials, also the very beautiful colorful place in full Sicilian style. Good waiters, and the chef is not only good but also very nice!!

A table was found for us even without a reservation. The welcome is pleasant. The boss comes into the room to take the temperature and give some advice. The meal was excellent, as was the service. A little homemade digestive to conclude and when paying the bill a small gift is given. Everything was very good, including the wine. The atmosphere is warm.

Nostos offers modern Sicilian cuisine prepared with care, the objective is above all to satisfy the customer's taste buds.
The caponata is tender with a beautiful combination of quality products, the aromatic and color palette is impressive, only the texture is missing. (A bit too much oil for my taste)
I was finally able to enjoy a delicious dish of pasta with pistachio pesto, just the right amount. To my great dismay, it lacks fish to balance the strong taste of the pistachio. This remains a well-made dish.
In short, it is obviously a successful experience even if I am not fully satisfied. Despite the chef's very good intentions, the meal becomes expensive quite quickly.

Very good address to discover Sicilian specialties. The restaurant is quiet located in a small alley typical of Syracuse. The starters and dishes that we tasted were succulent and the staff was pleasant. Small downside for the music which is much too loud for the space.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. My husband got the octopus and shrimp ravioli and loved it.

Was quickly seated even without reservation. They have a few 2 people tables outside.
The two dishes we got were a bit hit or miss. The shrimp raviolis were great and the grilled squid was good too. However, the grilled tuna and swordfish felt overcooked to us.
Still an overall good food experience.
On the pricier end compared to Catania.

Nostos is a small restaurant located in the alleys of Ortigia. Inside it is well furnished with refined furnishing accessories, you will also find a piano among other things. Limited menu with little choice, a sign of refinement and authenticity of the raw materials. The very greasy and tasty caponata was good, a shame about the completely burnt octopus.

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, porzioni ottime, ed ospitalità come in pochi altri posti, attenzione verso i bambini e gentilezza infinita!!! Se torneremo ad Ortigia ritorneremo a trovarli!!!!

Lo chef è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile a cucinare un piatto di pasta senza glutine preparando il sugo alla Norma al momento, in modo che non ci fossero contaminazioni. E il locale era già quasi pieno…. Ottimo il sugo e anche la zuppa di cozze che era piccante al punto giusto. Consigliatissimo!
