Rosticceria/ristorantino/gastronomia molto carina e piazzata strategicamente alle Porte del Centro Storico d Castiglione del Lago. Pici cacio e pepe molto molto buoni così come la parmigiana e gli sformatini verdure. Prezzo competitivo associato a sorrisi e cortesia. Super consigliato!

Very nice rotisserie/restaurant/deli, strategically located at the gates of the historic center of Castiglione del Lago. Pici cacio e pepe very very good as are the parmigiana and vegetable flans. Competitive price associated with smiles and courtesy. Super recommended!

Good gastronomy with the possibility of eating on site. Counter full of already prepared but very tasty food. The pici are fresh and cooked on the spot with the sauce of the day. Very good. Excellent value for money. One step away from the historic center. Very friendly and nice staff.

Beyond the variety of food and quality, the difference is made by the guys who work there: always available and smiling, during the lunch break there is no place nearby that can compare. It is not a given to find such a welcome, always. Also because I'm writing this review after about a year of frequenting the place!

12/04/2025: A pleasant surprise! Found by chance, we had lunch discovering excellent dishes and courtesy of the owner! We had a mixed appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, croutons and omelette with truffles, a superlative chickpea soup and a very tender cut. Coffee and liqueur. High quality ingredients and a truly honest price. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Valfabbrica.
12/04/2025: Mi sono fermato a Valfabbrica come fine tappa della Via di Francesco a dormire in questo piccolo hotel gestito da una signora molto gentile e premurosa che ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio. Ho deciso di cenare e non mi sono pentito perché raramente ho mangiato del cibo così gustoso e ben presentato. Naturalmente ho scelto le pietanze condite con il tartufo e una buona tagliata al gorgonzola. Sono andato a letto stanco per il cammino ma soddisfatto per quello che ho gustato.

18/05/2025: On the suggestion of friends, I reach the industrial area of ​​Ballanzano for breakfast where there is this croissant shop that has a large parking lot, also accessible with wheelchairs, where you can even park with heavy vehicles. Inside there is a large availability of seats, you are welcomed by kind and professional staff who accompany you to the tasting of the house specialty: fabulous croissants of various sizes and colors that you can fill as you see fit based on the offer on the menu displayed at the counter. All accompanied with excellent coffee or cappuccino also passing for a very fresh juice. A beautiful discovery, a splendid experience that I highly recommend, see you soon.
