The food was good, but unfortunately a bit bland in terms of taste. Definitely too little for the intended "fusion" of Italy and India, too boring. The portions themselves were far too generous and large; you should only order two courses if you're really, really hungry. How can you possibly eat a dolce when you're about to burst?
The wine selection wasn't extensive, but sufficient. The Montefalco Rosso we chose was fine.
The service from the owner (Tracy?) was okay, but took some getting used to. We had a good rapport with her, but with other guests, she displayed a certain uncomprehending severity, which I found a bit brusque, irritating, and not particularly likeable.

Incredible fusion of Indian and Italian cuisine. I would return to Assisi just for this food!

Reserved this restaurant weeks before eating there. I had forgotten it was a Indian and Umbrian fusion restaurant. Upon arrival there were no menus in English, but the hostess translated every item on the menu. I selected the tagliatelle ragu.....OMG..THE ABSOLUTE BEST dish I've had in Umbria. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, but reservations are essential. Thanks Nona Nini for the best food on our last night in Umbria.

Oh this is a place not to miss, a real treat for the senses.
We wanted a late lunch and ate wonderfully subtle samosas to start.
We both chose to follow that with a Vegetable Lasagne that had lemon zest sprinkled on it with some parmesan. It was delicious. Didn't have room for desert but will make sure I try them tonight when we're returning for dinner.
Fantastic and great value for money.
