What food was served with so much love and energy! We enjoyed the food and drinks and an incredible commitment from the owner! She, together with her husband, has managed Nonna's legacy with great praise!! The flavors and textures of the food took us by storm! Fish and seafood at its best!! Together with well-chosen wine from the surroundings!! See you again!!

The food was excellent, and the owner, Toscanaccio, was incredibly friendly! The service was top-notch! I'll definitely be back to try the pici.

Nonna Isola is a must-visit during our stays in Castiglioncello. It's truly family-run, and owners Susanne and Enrico make you feel right at home. No dish is banal or predictable, showcasing the richness of the ingredients with excellent pairings. The warm schiacciata they serve is delicious!

We stopped here on the way to the port of Civitavecchia. Everything was very good and the dishes were presented beautifully. Perhaps a little pricey, but that's normal for a coastal restaurant. The atmosphere was very peaceful since we were alone, I suppose because it was almost closing time.

Visit Nonna Isola and experience an evening full of amazing food, excellent wine and even better company. The menu sports varying courses throuhout the year and the service is both charming and forthcoming. The stay at this restaurant was the highlight of our trip. A well deserved 5 stars!

I'm usually not the kind of person who orders a full-course dinner, but I am so glad that I tried. I got some prawns with seaweed as a starter, pasta with herring as a first course, a tuna steak with veggies and soy sauce as a second, and some ice cream for dessert. I'm not an expert, but it felt like a blend of Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine. I loved it so much that I came back the next day. It was easily the best food I had this year. Definitely go there if you are in the area.

I took my 15-year-old nephew to this restaurant that was recommended to us. Expectations were exceeded. My nephew said it was the best meal of his life. Highly recommended.

Ero in zona per lavoro e insieme alla mia ragazza abbiamo deciso di fermarsi a pranzo. Ci hanno accolto all interno del locale era domenica ed era tutto pieno, servizio molto gentile e attento, hanno opzioni senza glutine, i piatti una meraviglia dietro l altra abbiamo preso un risotto buonissimo e un pacchetto al polipo veramente eccellente. Poi abbiamo ordinato una grigliata anch essa molto buona! Sono state superate le aspettative, lo consiglio vivamente

Carino il locale ,materia prima nella media , cucina nella media nel senso che non abbiamo notato ,in 4 persone che eravamo, particolari abilità nella preparazione dei piatti , anzi chi ha avuto la grigliata mista che consta di 1 tentacolo ,1 scampo o gambero e 2 pezzetti di pesce non ha constatato una buona grigliatura, il tentacolo era lesso addirittura. La frittura ha poco pesce e molta scenografia di verdure . Il prezzo è alto rispetto a quello che si offre. Credo che ormai vadano x sentito dire perché anche il servizio non è niente di particolare : il pesce x chi non lo sa pulire è un problema , nessuna salvietta x pulirsi le mani , sale e olio nei loro contenitori da supermercato . Bho ... È stata una prova ma non credo ci torneremo. Peccato!!!
