Great experience. Our host Asuma was the son of the owner and very attentive to our needs. The food was great and good value for money. Assistance was available for food selection and wine selection as well. Would be very happy to return and pleased to recommend to others.

At a famous local restaurant, we enjoyed the Venetian specialty, squid ink pasta.
Located on the Adriatic Sea, Venice is renowned for its fresh seafood, but squid ink pasta is also a Venetian specialty. The fragrant sauce clung to the pasta and was delicious.
The appetizer (we had the seafood tempura with olive oil, a taste unique to Italy) and the peach gelato for dessert were also delicious.

(2018) I went there for dinner. I had squid ink spaghetti, seafood fritters, and panna cotta. The restaurant was quiet and there were candles at each table. The waiters were all handsome.
(November 2025) I went there for a weekday lunch for the first time in a while. I had bolognese, seafood fritters, and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. The waiters were also smiling, which made a good impression. The restroom is located at the back right as you exit through the door on the left side of the restaurant. It's conveniently close to St. Mark's Square. I'd like to come here again next time.

The food was so-so. This portion of fish was supposed to be for two people for 40 euros, but the pasta was 20 euros each. We should have looked for something better.

We visited this restaurant in Venice, just steps from St. Mark's Square.
The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were very friendly.
The food was excellent and the prices were fair.
Highly recommended.
The owner was very friendly, and the staff were knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly.
We'll be happy to return.
