Se siete a Salina e amate il pesce, questo locale è una tappa imperdibile. Qui troverete piatti di mare freschissimi e di altissima qualità, preparati con maestria e rispetto per il gusto autentico del Mediterraneo. Il tutto è arricchito dall’accoglienza calorosa e dallo spirito vivace del proprietario, che rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale con la sua simpatia contagiosa. Un luogo che unisce sapori eccellenti e un’atmosfera indimenticabile.

Servizio veloce, poco empatico ma sostanzialmente cortese, menu abbastanza interessante, cucina di buon grado con rivisitazioni della tradizione, cantina adeguata e con buone condizioni di servizio, acqua alla spina non a temperatura, almeno nell’esperienza vissuta. Ampissima sala esterna, seppur coperta, con tanti tavoli abbastanza ravvicinati, praticamente chiusa sui quattro lati e dunque da evitare nelle serate particolarmente calde. Conto proporzionalmente ben elevato.

13/10/2024: In a region that has great food everywhere, Maria Tindara’s restaurant, perched up on the mesa and away from the hassle and bustle of the port, was a great find. Three generations of hosts have welcomed travelers for decades. The food is excellent — a mix of fresh local produce and delicious culinary tradition. Good wine list. Attentive service, a beautiful outdoor area overlooking a lush garden lush. A treat to be repeated. They run a shuttle service to/from the port, if you arrange in advance. Reservations are recommended if you are visiting off season.
