We always come here for granita, and I have to say it's delicious! Flavors of home.

We stopped by by chance to satisfy a sudden cannoli craving while strolling through Monza, and we decided we absolutely had to return!
The place is small, but there are tables and chairs both outside and in the square, where we sat down to enjoy a cannoli and two Sicilian granitas. We found them truly delicious and similar to those found in Sicily.
The best thing about the whole experience, however, was the service. The woman was incredibly kind, always smiling, and recommended flavor combinations for the granitas when we weren't sure (with no extra charge, you can get both cream and multiple flavors in one granita!), and she gladly gave us a free taste of the black mulberry granita (a very generous sample, as pictured). This courtesy is truly rare, especially in this area, and it made us feel welcome and welcomed.

We went for breakfast to have granita. I'll start by saying that I'm Sicilian and know the product.
There are a variety of flavors to choose from, especially the fruit ones.
The option to choose the size of the glass was much appreciated; the large one costs €4.
The flavors we tried were almond and coffee + cream and chocolate + cream and brioche with a tuppo.
The granita has a good consistency and creaminess, but not predictable. The almond was good, not prepared as is often the case with the usual syrups. The coffee, too, was nothing exceptional but still good; it could definitely taste much more like coffee.
The chocolate was okay, but not excellent.
The cream was very interesting for those who are lactose intolerant: it's soy-based with added milk proteins. The consistency and overall flavor were good; it didn't taste like soy cream, quite the opposite.
A very negative note, so I'm giving it two stars less overall. It would have gotten a full four for a Sicilian granita in the north. The brioches: completely in need of revision. I don't know if it was a coincidence with the dough that day, but the taste and texture were truly awful. The color was fine, but the brioche was rubbery and almost difficult to bite into and chew (not due to the product being less fresh). Plus, it left an unpleasant taste and a thin rubbery film in the mouth.
The ricotta and cannoli in general were very good.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. A pleasant experience from a human perspective.
I'll definitely try it again, hoping they improve the brioche dough.
PS: They also offer a granita and cannoli card that, when you fill it, gets you a free granita or cannoli.

Just like in Sicily.
Truly exceptional: from the ricotta on the cannoli, to the shells, to the granitas, to the arancini—I truly felt "down there."
Special mention goes to both the excellent management (the lady and gentleman are delightful, cheerful, and very kind) and the location, because the little square on the water is a picture-perfect place!
I've been coming to Sicily for 30 years, living in Lombardy: I'd never found it before—well done!!

As a local from Messina, I can say it's a really good granita. I often go when I feel like I'm home. The staff is friendly. I haven't tried the savory part, but it looks good.

This morning, for the first time, I tasted a creamy and original granita from Messina on a quiet terrace in the center of Monza, accompanied by its legendary brioche with tuppolo, a one-way trip to Sicily. And just now, your cannolo sent me into raptures; I rediscovered all the original aromas and flavors of the beautiful land of Sicily. The ricotta is phenomenal. Just take a bite, close your eyes, and let yourself be transported to the pearl of our Mediterranean.
The owner is extremely kind and helpful.
If you're from Monza or are in the area, don't miss out on this tasteful and sensory experience.
A Monza native who expatriated to France, lived for 15 years in Calabria, across the street from Sicily, and knows both very well.
Thanks Na'ranita, see you next time 😘
🚨AND IT DOESN'T END HERE!...
It's impossible to resist staying away from this oasis of pure pleasure and calm in the center of Monza.
I just tasted the hazelnut granita, a novelty, with real, authentic whipped cream on the bottom...but I won't say anymore, COME AND TRY IT!!!! RUN!!!
⚠️⚠️⚠️WARNING: RISK OF HIGH ADDICTION⚠️⚠️⚠️
And tomorrow I'll bring the "Gaullois" arancini and cannoli, not just macarons and quiche!
Thanks Na'ranita
