An excellent restaurant where you can enjoy true seafood delicacies, where I often return to enjoy the lakefront view. The owner also offers a warm welcome, making you instantly feel at home.

The food is good, but it's not really suitable for children because the place is small and they don't have much room to move around, as the lady pointed out to us, always politely....

IN RESPONSE TO FRANCESCA MUGNAINI I'm responding because I was mentioned in the previous review. I'm the acquaintance who, to defuse the situation a bit, took the liberty of suggesting knocking down a wall, not to make room for the girl, but to add more space in general, since, yes, it's true, space in this little place is limited for everyone. These four city girls (Florence perhaps, a large, modern metropolis) were seated at the two tables behind ours at the last minute, joining two tables for two. Signora Monia is well aware of the limitations of her place, which she's been running for years, and she knows that every inch counts. The girls (even if she pretends to be an outside observer, Signora Francesca was one of them) positioned themselves so that the tallest and most robust one (the second sylph in the situation) was right in front of the passageway through which both the customers at the table behind, who hadn't yet arrived and were carrying a child, and the signora and the waitress would have to pass to serve. Now, knowing I'm in the way, I don't stand right in the middle of the room (I always stand against the wall with my dog, for example; I don't let the dog under my feet block the way). The lady then said, "Darling, but you have to stand over there, otherwise the people at the table behind won't get in." Oh, heavens! For the entire lunch, they talked about nothing but rude people, the fact that Trasimeno Lake is disgusting, the fact that the lady was rude (instead of "Darling," perhaps she should have called her "Busta de fave"?), and the fact that they were going to get up and leave (which didn't happen because the sylph preferred to ruin lunch for everyone, including her friends, by acting offended and refusing to eat, saying that if they left, things would be even worse). It's too easy to hide behind body shaming, which in this case is truly inappropriate given that both of the two protagonists are not a size 12. Furthermore, the fact that those who were supposed to arrive were relatives is just speculation, as the lady's only real relatives are her daughters who work with her in the restaurant. However, she treats everyone like family, and that's what you city folks lack: a basic understanding of social relationships, busy as you are in setting yourselves up as champions of minorities. The other group of people was made aware of the same thing, because it's not pleasant for anyone to eat with another person on top of you, so you need to let those who know the restaurant and are aware of its problems guide you. Next time you feel discriminated against, I suggest you get up and leave somewhere else, but I assure you that the problem wasn't the size but the arrogance, so running away wouldn't help much. I hope I never run into your unpleasant little group again; if you're not a princess in your manners, you can't expect to be treated like one, not even when you pay!

The lady who served us, I think the owner, was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. She was always formal until she broke out the local dialect and was truly charming.

We happened upon this restaurant for lunch, one of the many along the lakefront. I can honestly say that the quality and quantity of the dishes are more than satisfactory. The service is excellent, as is the kindness of the lady who welcomed us. We will certainly return as soon as we have another opportunity to try their other specialties. We had lunch here on a winter's day and it was great! Excellent food, friendly, and courteous service.

A couple's lunch on a pleasant autumn day. Highly recommended for: - location, as it's on the lakefront. True, the veranda faces the street, but with the awnings closed, we didn't notice any traffic, and the view of the lake was very pleasant; - celiacs are welcome: almost the entire menu is also available in gluten-free versions, and they know the subject very well; - good food and reasonable prices, with a wide selection of wines; - Monia, who served us, made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back.

This is an excellent fish restaurant. The whole family enjoyed it. The owners are very nice and welcoming. Highly recommended.
