Morano In Montefiascone

Excellent food, a variety of dishes, but not very generous portions. Good value for money. The acoustics aren't the best.

We stayed in a fairly rural and basic place, without too many pretensions, but I must say it pleasantly surprised us. The atmosphere is simple but very clean, and the service is impeccable. Special thanks to the waitress: very kind and truly lovely, always smiling and attentive. The value for money is unbeatable: very low prices, but more than decent quality, especially for the fish. We tried the fried fish and the grilled golden fish: everything was good, well-cooked, and flavorful. The pan-fried vegetables were also a pleasant surprise. 👉 The only real flaw: the desserts, unfortunately inedible, definitely in need of improvement. Overall, a simple but honest place, where you can eat well for little money. We'll gladly return for another seafood grill!

Nice atmosphere, but they give priority to regular customers

A very charming place on Lake Bolsena, with a beautiful lakeside summer veranda. The restaurant is clean, and the waiters and owners are super friendly, with fast and courteous service. The meat is delicious, but especially the fish, fresh and perfectly cooked. An 8/10 value.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Average food. High prices. P.S.: The pizza and fried food are good!! Although I'd avoid telling customers "I'll only accept those who have reservations tonight" because I think finding two more seats isn't the end of the world since we come here often.

A peaceful spot on the shores of Lake Bolsena, on the Montefiascone side, the food is good, simple and authentic, including locally sourced lake fish. Everything is cooked simply and unpretentious. You can dine indoors or al fresco on the veranda or under the reed canopy that provides shade in the warmer months.

The best lake fish restaurant in town!!!

Very beautiful location, especially at sunset. The outdoor seating is covered. The staff seems welcoming (with a few minor exceptions). A bit confusing about the wine list; the waiter wasn't sure what was available by the glass. The trifle was very good!
