A very nice place with delicious food at reasonable prices. The tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce is fantastic. The foccacia is excellent. And the pizza is excellent, with lots of fresh, local ingredients. The service is also very friendly. The young man, who always has a smile on his face, is a great asset to this place. If we're ever in Milan again, we'll definitely be back.

An interesting pizzeria with a kitchen, serving medium-sized pizzas (neither large nor small), well-cooked. They offer a fixed-price menu, grouped by type/total price, with a drink (including a small or medium beer) and coffee. The selection of first and second courses is also interesting, and the braised meat/stew with polenta is excellent. Unfortunately, the only beers on tap are Peroni, available in four varieties, but this brand has recently improved. The restaurant closes its kitchen at 11:30 PM and stays open until approximately midnight. Updated on August 23, 2025 (Saturday): it was closed for lunch, with no notice posted, either for vacation or otherwise, a sign that, by municipal regulations, should be mandatory.

I ate a mixed platter with fried dumplings, pizza and carpaccio. I had a good time in a comfortable atmosphere.

It finally reopened after the holidays in August and we return to always eat well and at respectable prices: appetizing first courses, delicious second courses, very very good wood-fired pizza. Quick, kind and honest. Always satisfying to stop for lunch with a wide choice and friendly service. All very good, excellent bread. Really interesting prices for the Lombardy capital. Apart from Mondays, there is also pizza for lunch, which is really good and inviting. Always a certainty for service and choice.

29/07/2025: Wow! My husband and I come here when we want a hearty pizza. Generous portions and toppings. The type of cheese (taleggio) on the "Tartufata" is so creamy and flavorful. My personal favorite pizza, the "Capricciosa," abbondante-size was so large that I took home 2/3s of it for later. Highly recommend this pizza! (One word of warning: the 6 pm opening time listed on Google Maps doesn't mean that the pizza oven is ready at 6 pm. They start making pizzas closer to 7 pm.)

Out Of The Box

27/08/2025: For the past four years, Out of the Box has been my go-to gelato shop for explaining to my friends what great gelato is. My favorite flavors were raw pistachio and raw dark chocolate. A masterful balance of intensity and delicacy, graininess (for the pistachio) and creaminess (for the chocolate). I'd never tasted anything like it, and I think those flavors will never be forgotten. Unfortunately, however, yesterday I returned to enjoy the same delicious medium cup, and the gelato wasn't the same. I met the owner, who kindly confirmed the chocolate recipe had been changed. I'm just as sorry to have lost those flavors. For me, Out of the Box was the gelato shop where I could indulge in the best gelato I've ever tasted, and for that I was willing to pay the obvious premium compared to the competition. Today, I don't think I'd pay it again, even if the gelato is still good.
27/08/2025: Nothing to say: the whole-wheat ice cream is very good! But it's impossible that in the three years I've lived here, the only things that've changed are the prices (increased) and the portions (decreased). And seeing an ice cream maker scooping out ice cream with a scoop is like a pizza maker rolling out pizza dough with a machine. A little creativity and initiative! Change up these flavors every now and then.
