Best Italian food I had there on this holiday. Great service!

We only stopped by for a cappuccino and espresso on the way from Manfredino to Vestia, but the apparently family-run restaurant makes a very good impression. And the view is fantastic. It's worth making a stop here. Next time we'll feast here.

Today we found out that the negative reviews about this restaurant are wrong. From the start you were greeted warmly and you could choose your table without any problems. We were given a card with the food on it and asked for the card that was shown on the internet. We ordered Bruscetta, a bottle of water, a white wine half a liter, grilled squid, grilled shrimps and a sea bass and potato chips, as well as a tiramisu and a mixed salad. We evaluate fairness, quality, performance and organization. First of all, one thing must be made clear: the negative reports presented here do not correspond to what is written in the negative reports. This is a family business that cooks and serves the food with love and passion. We have a skilled chef here who prepares the dishes superbly and tastefully. We have a chef here who explains the dishes and also mentions that, for example, the tomatoes come from our own garden and are planted ourselves. We can not only confirm that the dishes were very well made but also coordinated with a very good taste. We got to know many waiters as well as the boss himself and couldn't tell that the negative reports were completely made out of thin air. Great place! You have to stop here. The best restaurant in Puglia. We ate grilled dorata. Perfect! The owner takes care of every detail of the restaurant and his guests. He has been doing this for 53 years! You must eat here.

Beautiful place, very nice staff and delicious food!

My partner and I enjoyed an evening here in August 2024. The food was simple, healthy and wholesome, lovely setting and view but what we enjoyed the most was the service and the heartwarming Italian love for food and family. The waiter was an old lovely gentleman who cared for us as if we were part of his family, getting us to taste all ingredients they self-produce, deboning our fish at the table to make sure we ate it safely and cutting into pieces our dessert because it was a bit hard straight from the freezer. We loved overhearing the chatter of the ladies in the kitchen, watching the two older men grilling the food at the fireplace with care and attention. We left the place feeling nourished, sweet and filled up with the essence of what Italy is for us. Not ideal if you are looking for a fancy dinner or to have the ultimate culinary experience, perfect if you appreciate simple local quality dishes, authenticity and Italian family vibe.

Be sure to try the tangerine sorbet. There is also an alcoholic sauce consisting of tangerine peels, orange peels and olive peels. Fantastic.

Enorme potenziale ma non completamente sfruttato: servizio molto lento, pianti interessanti ma porzioni ridottissime e prezzi alti. Davvero un peccato. Fermati poco prima di arrivare alla nostra destinazione e iniziare la nostra vacanza pugliese: speravamo in un inizio diverso.

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante a pochi metri dall hotel baia dei faraglioni. Antipasto : soutè di cozze. Poi due primi: ravioli fatti in casa con cacioricotta e pomodorini e troccoli allo scoglio. Due secondi: tonno in scorza di pistachio e gamberoni gratinati al rum. Due fette di anguria gustosissime e liquore della casa all'olivo, mandarino, arancia e limone. Proprietario gentile, posto silenzioso e con vista mozzafiato. Consigliato!
