Mirepuà In Cremolino

An excellent restaurant in a most beautiful building with stunning countryside views. The dining room in the evening light has a special atmosphere, the subtle lighting and cool retro music greatly adding to the unpretentious decor. There are also outdoor tables on a scenic terrace, but we chose to stay inside. The kitchen serves up high quality local produce prepared with restraint, nothing is over-complicated and the ingredients are allowed to speak for themselves. Which is good, because everything on the plate is impressive down to the last detail. To give but one example, the garden vegetables accompanying my wife’s rabbit involtini (itself very delicious) looked and tasted like they had been growing in the ground only a few hours beforehand. The hosts are also notably generous feeders. We were very happy with our meal.

I went for lunch over a weekend about a month ago to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend, after having dinner a few months earlier with a much more "illustrious" guest. The dinner with the illustrious guest had pleasantly surprised me, both in terms of the service and the food—new and extraordinary flavors—so much so that I waited for another special occasion to return immediately, and even considered it a new favorite. Perhaps it was my expectations, which were justifiably very high, but this time I was disappointed. The flavors and emotions of the food I had eaten the first time didn't materialize, and the service was a bit nervous, perhaps a symptom of a bad day (which can happen!). I wanted to try the BBQ menu that the chef had given us a sneak peek of the first time, but unfortunately, the chef's touch wasn't there, perhaps because he wasn't in the kitchen that Saturday; I'm sure he wouldn't have brought those dishes out. I want to emphasize that nothing was inedible; in fact, perhaps I sat down with too high expectations, which the chef himself had "promised" and offered us the first time I ate there. I thought I'd found a place where I could enjoy the food, the hospitality, and the good drinks, but unfortunately, given the non-trattoria prices, which are justified by the type of restaurant, I can't go in blindly hoping to return and enjoy it as much as the first time; I prefer to play it safe. Perhaps just a combination of unfortunate events!

Well, I have to say that Federico really amazed me!!! A stunning location with a fabulous view and dishes cooked with great care! A place where the taste, landscape, and view come together in a perfect union! Mirepua....an excellent choice

We went for dinner last night, and were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the quality of everything, from the service to the food. These days, finding a place like this where you can eat such delicious dishes that you can tell aren't just made haphazardly, but are definitely the result of experience, passion, and dedication is a dream. The atmosphere is exceptional, a gorgeous place! The woman in the dining room was incredibly kind. In short, they take care of everything, and it shows! Well done! First time there, we'll definitely be back! The price is right for the quality.

We stayed one night at the B&B and had dinner at the restaurant during a cycling weekend in February. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.
