Miralago In Torri del benaco

The food was delicious, especially the tiramisu. The waiter was friendly and attentive to our every need. We had to sit inside because of the rain; it would have been nicer outside.

My porcini mushroom pizza wasn't okay, as I unfortunately discovered a few hours later. It's possible it was the mushrooms themselves. The pizza was also very runny, with an above-average amount of fat and cheese. Update: Thanks for the reply. I also thought about an infection, of course, but can definitely rule that out based on the symptoms. Short and intense.

We have lived in the wonderful Torri del Benaco for 35 years and use every free moment we have in Germany to come here. For several years, we avoided restaurants on or near the lake because the price/performance ratio was completely inadequate. 👎 Through a visit from dear friends, we came across the "Miralago," contrary to our usual habit. And we have to revise our opinion: the price/performance ratio is absolutely excellent, the service (Nicola!) is engaging and classically Italian and cheerful. All this in a magnificent location with a view of the lake that is hard to beat! Our friends were there three times in five days for a reason. And of course, we also recommend it! 🤌 Tip... Order Bonollo di Amarone as grappa and be amazed...🤩

This place is magical. We had dinner here and the owner who was serving us was by far the most genuine and friendly person we've had the pleasure of dealing with. We really wanted to get a table right by the water and he offered for us to wait a little bit at another table before moving us. We splashed out on a nice bottle of wine but normally I'd say you can eat here for around 30€ per person. Try the tiramisu, it's so good! The wine, the food, the wines, the view, the atmosphere, all absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a romantic place to eat, this is it.
