Mineo's Pizza House In Bagheria

We have Mineo's in Pittsburgh so I haf to trt it in Italy. Pizzas cost much less there and taste better too!

The food is good, the atmosphere is nice, but the service is really slow, about 20 minutes just for the appetizer. From 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM and we're still waiting for the pizzas. Terrible service on a Saturday.

I had dinner here with my family on a Saturday night. The initial wait was about 10 minutes, but then the service was perfect. The wait times between dishes were normal. The pizzas and sandwiches were good. Recommended.

Best pizza I had on the island. Very popular place amongst the younger groups and families. The menu is big and there is something for everyone and every appetite. Get there early if you want the sfincione siciliano. They run out. Its a must, as it is a classic!

Definitely worth a visit to try Bagheria's sfincione. Be careful, sfincione isn't a pizza; it's much more filling. Friendly waiters.

Best pizza my taste buds have ever tasted

The place appears very welcoming, the staff very polite and efficient. The menu is very extensive. I chose a hot appetizer: the fries were good, the arancini stuffed with olives were delicious. I also ordered chicken croquettes, perhaps a little overcooked. I then ordered a Caesar Chicken Wrap. The composition of the dish is very rich, colorful, and very inviting... the flavor, however, is not so much. The piadina is too sweet, a stark contrast to the strong saltiness inside, doubled by the Parmesan shavings, which add saltiness to the piadina, already salty from the bacon. The acidity is also doubled: already provided by the tomato, this has in fact been increased by the presence of the Caesar sauce. Furthermore, the chicken is clearly frozen and doesn't taste appetizing; it would have been better to include a whole chicken cutlet breaded and fried on the spot; it would have given composure to an already disheveled dish. Finally, the fries that accompanied the dish were terribly bland, unlike those that came with the appetizers shortly before. Another flaw is the access to the restaurant: the sidewalk is very high, making it difficult for those with physical disabilities to access. In conclusion, my experience at this restaurant wasn't entirely negative, so I decided to give it 3 out of 5 stars for the reasons mentioned above.
