Mezzaparola In

During a walk in Donnalucata, my husband and I stopped for lunch at Mezzaparola – and it was a perfect choice. The restaurant won us over from the first minutes, with a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere, a stone's throw from the sea. We started with a taste of their bread, accompanied by an extra virgin olive oil produced with olives grown under the sea breeze: a detail that struck us, and which immediately opened our appetite at the first bite. We have chosen three fish-based recipes, all excellent: very fresh ingredients, precise cooking, original and never exaggerated presentations. Fish was the protagonist in every dish, enhanced with elegance and respect for the raw material. The service was fast, friendly and always attentive, without ever being intrusive. The place is clean and well-kept, with nautical-style furnishings that tell the story of the area without forcing it. We concluded with a truly excellent coffee, which perfectly closed a lunch that left us fully satisfied. If you are in the area, stop by Mezzaparola: a taste experience that is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.

Passing through, a few tens of meters from the beautiful Donnalucata seafront on a sunny, almost spring day. Really fresh fish cooked with skill. Really great experience.

An excellent seafood culinary experience. Good and generous portions. Prices slightly high but still in line with the quality of the restaurant.

It is March so Donnalucata is quiet. We went to Mezzaparola for lunch and were one of two tables occupied. The restaurant is lovely but without sea views. The food was good. We tried two pastas, both tuna based and both tasty. The service attentive. I was surprised when the waiter told me there was no milk for a macchiato coffee, but I am sure that is not a regular problem. Very pleasant experience.

Pleasant location, cared for without overdoing it. The maitre d' and all the staff were very kind. Excellent food, perfect balance of flavours.

Prima volta e tornerò volentieri a cena in questo nel ristorante a pochi passi dal mare di Donnalucata. Ottimo il servizio, personale attento e preparato. Ottimo il menù di pesca, con infinita proposta di antipasti. Complimenti.
