A wonderful dining experience for lunch with friends. The catch of the day was expertly conveyed with a wine match once we chose the fish. Polpo arrosto was fabulous and Saltimbocca fish excellent. Really great food. Our friends had cozze & polpo insalatone also.

We were guests of Mezzaparola last March and we had really high expectations about the quality and the preparation of the dishes. In reality, in relation to the bill (94 euros for two glasses of low-end white wine, two appetizers, two first courses, a dessert and a coffee), we did not find anything so special... Yes, we had a good time, but overall it is a restaurant like many others, with a quality-price ratio a little too unbalanced for the real culinary experience offered.

We were presented with the fish to choose from, then weighed and given the price. Surprise! But the John Dory was excellent, and we didn't regret choosing this fine restaurant.

Carbonara di mare. NOT a good combo fish drowned in egg and formaggio and egg turned into sand. Cheese to much and too strong little taste of fish. Slightly expensive for Sicily.

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante durante un weekend a Sampieri... Siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti della scelta. Lo staff professionale e preparato e attento ai dettagli. Piatti eccellenti e vari, ma soprattutto saporiti come non si sente più!! La signora è stata dolcissima con le mie figlie. Abbiamo trovato il nostro ristorante preferito!!

It is March so Donnalucata is quiet. We went to Mezzaparola for lunch and were one of two tables occupied. The restaurant is lovely but without sea views. The food was good. We tried two pastas, both tuna based and both tasty. The service attentive. I was surprised when the waiter told me there was no milk for a macchiato coffee, but I am sure that is not a regular problem. Very pleasant experience.
