Piccolo ristorante, trenta coperti, sul porto di Monopoli. Enzo, il proprietario, è un perfetto anfitrione, e lascia trasparire un grande passione per il suo lavoro. Poche portate ma tutte di gran qualità. Tra gli antipasti ottimo la tagliatella di calamaro. Menzione particolare per il Diaframma cotto a bassa temperatura. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono.

Bella scoperta. Cena davvero ottima con prodotti e materie prime di gran qualità. Servizio impeccabile, prezzi nella media che rispecchiano la tipologia di ristorante. Davvero consigliato!

At Metae we don't eat there, we have an experience; fresh products prepared with love and originality for a successful dinner that leaves an impression on us during our visit. The service is attentive and smiling, Massimo the owner is a true restaurateur who knows his job and who knows how to convey all his attachment. We ate very well, even our daughter who doesn't like fish enjoyed it. An address not to be missed if you pass through Monopoli

This restaurant in Monopoli is an absolute must. The food was delicious, and the wine Terre Blanche Bombino Bianco was recommended by the owner Enzo and it was perfect with our meal.. We had the pasta filled with ricotta, lemon, in a seafood bisque and topped with fresh prawn carpaccio. It was simply delicious, we wiped the plate clean with the fresh bread. . We also had the eggplant with panagratto which was very flavoursome. For dessert we had the tiramisù which had amaretto was light and delicious, mascarpone was so fresh. The owner Enzo is so passionate about his restaurant and his menu. He made sure we were happy throughout our meal and really helped is pick the right wine to match our meal. The service and attention to detail is so evident. We even had a backer under the table to place our handbags in. Don’t miss this restaurant if you’re visiting Monopoli, you won’t regret it.

Certainly the best value for money in Monopoli, and when I say certainly it is only because I have not been able to test all the addresses! ;) Go there without even asking the question, it's a treat. Efficient service, friendly boss and fresh products with reasonable prices: what more could you ask for?
