Excellent restaurant in the heart of the historic center of Monopoli, it is a gem, few seats (the saying never goes wrong, few but good), tastefully furnished, unique dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, excellent à la carte wines, very friendly and professional staff

Cocina cuidada de mucha calidad, con producto de la zona, y muy bien atendido. En un restaurante pequeñito, moderno y tranquilo, si te dejas llevar por las recomendaciones del Metre, disfrutaras de lo lindo.

We've known Metae for a few years. There's no denying it.. Studied dishes, working combinations and remarkably good. No touristy and improvised but high level catering! Keep going...

As someone has already written, you don't go here to fill up but to enjoy a tasting of fresh cuisine. The best restaurant in the city... without a doubt. This freshness, these ingenious fusions of fresh, seasonal regional ingredients, a delight. Paired with great wines... here you can savour. The restaurant has a rather cool interior, few tables... Nothing distracts here.

Bella scoperta. Cena davvero ottima con prodotti e materie prime di gran qualità. Servizio impeccabile, prezzi nella media che rispecchiano la tipologia di ristorante. Davvero consigliato!

Limited options for a menu but extremely tasteful. Original mix of ingredients for a hard to forget dinner. The place is small but cozy. Traveled across all Italy but here I had the most dishes with nice favlours.

25/03/2025: Wonderful surprise, the owners very nice and aware of the importance of hospitality. Food with 0 km products, very high quality, relaxing and homely atmosphere. In addition, the home-made myrtle digestive is a delight.

27/03/2025: Two very distinct rooms, one intended for the American bar and the other for dining, very intimate and welcoming. Imaginative and lustful menu! The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Excellent selection of wines and spirits. A real gem.
28/02/2025: A real gem. When you enter you don't expect to find an intimate and well-kept room behind a small door. Competent and friendly staff, excellent quality food and a chef attentive to customer requests. Not to forget the excellent skills in preparing cocktails. Absolutely recommended
