Lovely find in Bologna. Excellent food, unfortunately we were there at the same time as a group of VIPs which meant that we were getting a very different experience. They had cocktails made and served in front of us and were personally serviced by the owner/head chef. Given that there was no VIP room, it was visible and extremely uncomfortable to be around. It would have been more acceptable if the owner greeted other clients in the same room when he made his rounds but unfortunately that was not the case. It is even more unfortunate considering that the food was top-notch. The vodka wheel dish was perfectly executed and simply divine.

The tagliatelle with ragù was delicious and made with excellent ingredients, but what won my heart was the dessert, a tenerina cake with mascarpone cream recommended by the waiter.
The service was excellent throughout.
I recommend making a reservation before going. I was lucky because I went early, but it gets busy later.

Got this place recommended by an Italian friend who lived in Bologna for years and it did not disappoint. The vodka wheel was the best pasta I ever had. Still talking about it two weeks later. If I am in bologna again, I will come back. Polite service as well, and nice inside area

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! Excellent traditional dishes, but above all, new flavors I hadn't encountered in a while, all at an extremely fair price for being in the center of Bologna. What struck me most was the vegetarian menu: truly excellent and not at all predictable, a rarity here in Bologna. THANK YOU!!! I'll definitely be back and bringing friends too.

Authentic Bolognese cuisine, top-notch lasagna and cutlet. The only downside is the rather high price: we paid around €70 for two half portions of lasagna and cutlet, a glass of wine, a bottle of water, and a Coke.

We tried to book at this restaurant several times, but always deciding at the last minute and aiming for the weekend made it impossible: it was always full! This time, however, taking advantage of the late-August calm and the emptier city, we finally managed to find a table.
The welcome was wonderful: a genuine smile immediately put us at ease, a rare and precious thing. The menu is extensive and well-researched, with original dishes that pique your curiosity. The wait staff was impeccable: friendly, knowledgeable, and offering excellent advice on both dishes and portions.
The food? Simply delicious, with attention to every detail and attentive service.
(The vodka rolls were a blast from the past.) An experience that won us over: we'll definitely be back!

Great food, excellent service and cosy atmosphere
We were lucky to get the only table not reserved. We arrived exactly at 19:30 on a Friday when opened. The food was great - russian salad is a must - but we loved the most the service. The staff was just friendly enough, attentive, professional and they were super kid friendly.
