I was hungry and strolling through Cesenatico along Viale Carducci when I came across this place. From the outside, it looks like a hot dog stand. The name, however, immediately piqued my interest: Merendero. The place offers a covered outdoor area with tables and chairs; even though it was January and the temperature outside was about 8 degrees Celsius, the covered area was truly pleasant, adequately heated and comfortable. I had the 300-gram "El Mere" burger and it was simply fabulous. Juicy double beef, sandwiched between perfectly toasted buns, accompanied by onions and peppers, crispy pancetta, and a generous array of sauces that complemented everything impeccably. Every bite was balanced and delicious. Truly excellent in every way. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Perfect music, great vibes... but the sandwiches are really too small! I went back after a while with my mom because I was really craving and hungry for a paninazzo, and I finished it without taking a testimonial photo. If I get the "cult" sandwich, it has to be at least similar to the photo. It was less than half the price, but it cost €13! PS The microfiltered water is trendy these days, and rightly so, but the glasses are tiny. It's a shame because with two small changes, you could easily get a well-deserved 5 stars!
