It may not be the best food in all of Rome, but it is a little piece of my history with this city. I cannot conceive of returning without passing through Melo. This has been my third time and it hasn't lost a bit of its charm and identity. I hope I can return on my next visit.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Very good customer service, they are very kind, we had the carbonara, creamy, tasty, pasta in the right place 👏 it's within walking distance. If you want to eat excellent food, you must come to this restaurant. 👏👏👏👏 For the restaurant: Thank you for the welcome 🥂

I had antipasti and spaghetti frutti di mare. There was no skimping on mussels and crabs and it tasted good. The ambience is a bit out of date, but exudes personal charm. The service is very attentive and humorous.

Highly recommended. Correct prices, real Italian cuisine, really tasty, Italian "family" friendliness. Our daughter also ate there on a previous trip and recommended it. Completely right...

Second visit tonight after two years. Absolutely perfect experience. Lovey service and I think the owners are present reminds me of grandma and grandpa but the very best kind.❤️ Couldn’t be better in any way. Thank you! 🙏

☆☆☆☆☆☆ EXCELLENT ☆☆☆☆☆☆ A friend introduced me to this Sicilian restaurant and I must say that it was a fantastic experience!!!!! We ate pasta alla norma and "licked our chops". The desserts... out of mind. FIRST PLACE OVERALL AT THE CASSATA. SUPER RECOMMENDED. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Thanks Melo and also to Vincenzo who after all also offered us ice cream.

Realmente uma Trattoria italiana. Comida simples, mas muito boa. Comemos melão com prosciuto. De prato principal uma pasta com sardinha que estava maravilhosa!

This is one of the best meals we have ever had and we have traveled extensively. The authenticity of the setting is matched by the quality of the food. Don’t be put off by the seemingly modest exterior. This is a must visit. All the dishes we had were 10/10 but I would reserve special mention for the pasta with anchovies- simply the best pasta I have ever had. As long f this were not enough to sell the place the prices were incredibly modest.

29/03/2024: Ortolana pizza not bad, the only flaw was that the porcini mushrooms were in too small pieces. The pizza dough, despite being thin, was not very crunchy, which was a shame. Excellent Mexican bean appetizer offered on the house, as is the limoncello. The classic supplì and the cacio e pepe ones are good and of the right size. Attentive and courteous staff. A little too noisy environment.
12/03/2024: Super service, excellent Roman pizza, beer and fried foods, worth trying
