After having a divine lunch at Medioevo restaurant for Christmas, we decided to return for a family lunch on our return to Monte Sant'Angelo. The daily menu offers meat, seafood, and even vegetarian options!
Eggplant rolls with troccoli and tomato sauce were exquisite.
Grilled cacio cheese with green cherry tomato compote was the main course, and a selection of desserts to finish.
The staff were incredibly kind and friendly.

Everything was really good, from appetizers to dessert. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The price was fair for the excellent quality, and the portions were satisfying! Must try.

Courteous and helpful waiters. Excellent food, generous portions. The mere fact of serving gutted shrimp speaks volumes about the chef's attention to even the smallest details. The interior can be noisy when there are large groups or birthday parties. It's the best restaurant on the main street for value and quality. I can't say it's the absolute best in Monte Sant'Angelo because I haven't tried the other two, which (perhaps) compete for the top spot.

Excellent restaurant, a pleasant discovery in the ancient village of Monte Sant'Angelo. Excellent service, attention to detail, even in the dishes, which are tasty and well-priced. We had a wonderful evening, thanks in part to the friendliness and humanity of the staff. Recommended!

This restaurant was recommended to us while we were visiting Monte Sant'Angelo. The excellent reviews we'd read reflected what we found. The three of us dined here, ordering different dishes and finding them all beautifully presented, with top-quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and very professional. The restaurant isn't easily visible from the road, but it's worth seeking out.

Siamo stati a cena la settimana scorsa al Medioevo. Dall'antipasto all' amaro, siamo stati tutti piacevolmente soddisfatti dalla bontà di ogni portata, gustando tantissime prelibatezze. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino. Fantastiche le orecchiette con le cime di rapa!!!
Ringraziamo moltissimo lo Chef e sua moglie per la gentilezza, cortesia e simpatia dimostrata. Siamo stati veramente coccolati. Torneremo ancora. Grazie e complimenti!!
