A beautiful venue divided into three areas: the bistro, the elegant and refined restaurant with decorations depicting motherhood, and the garden where it's pleasant to dine under two trees, an orange and a lemon, whose fruit is used in the restaurant's recipes. Tasty cuisine that honors tradition, with special mention for the swordfish rolls and eggplant meatballs, both exceptional!

I don't leave many reviews nowadays but felt we had to following our visit to this restaurant. Delicious home cooked food with lots of specials on the menu. We received a warm welcome and asked to sit in the cute outside area at the back of the restaurant. We were greeted there by the exceptionally kind waiter called Eduardo who made our visit extra special with his attentive service , explanations of the menu options and just a generally lovely personality. We had a nice chat with him - he's a real credit to the restaurant. We travel a lot and Eduardo's kind nature meant that we just had to leave a review for this restaurant that served such fantastic, home cooked Italian food. Amongst the restaurants in Gallipoli, this WAS the best by far.

We were looking for a place with air conditioning because it was very hot in Gallipoli, and we came across this restaurant, which pleasantly surprised us. Both the waiter and the owner were very friendly and attentive to every detail. We ordered lasagna, seafood risotto, and tiramisu. Everything was delicious! They recommended a wine that was also very good. The garden in the back with tables under a lemon tree is beautiful. 100% recommended!

The owner and his server welcomed us with open arms. Their advice was beyond helpful, both for the food and the wine. They were attentive and pleasant throughout the meal. We highly recommend this place during your visit to Galipoli!

In the center of Gallipoli, not very crowded with a nice garden where you can eat. Kind and courteous. Good orecchiette with turnip tops, not so good the parmigiana. Medium high prices but you can get a discount with the Fork.

08/08/2025: We stumbled upon this osteria by chance; we needed lunch and didn't feel like wandering around. As often happens on these occasions, we couldn't have found a better place. It's an old-fashioned osteria, with few frills, but well-kept and clean. Its real strength is the deliciousness and authenticity of the dishes. Everything is delicious, from the appetizers, made with the highest quality ingredients, to the pasta, cooked to perfection. The dishes are generous, but so good that it's impossible not to finish them. The desserts are also top-notch. The host, Gianluca, is discreet and truly kind; he explained the dishes to us with patience and expertise. We had such a great time that we returned the same evening, and our first impressions were fully confirmed. Excellent value for money.

08/07/2025: Super tasty "fast food" made from scratch with fine ingredients. Very cozy outdoor seating and wonderful staff. Popular place among both locals and tourists who happen to find this hidden gem. Very affordable!

It’s tucked away on a quirky little corner in a back alley, and the first time I found it, I felt like I’d just unlocked a secret level in a video game. The pizza? Really good. Nothing fancy or flashy, just honest, delicious pies made with the kind of love only a local nonna could inspire. And if you’re feeling adventurous, they’ve got all the traditional local classics on the side - yes, even horse stew for the brave souls out there. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, like sitting down at your neighbor’s kitchen table where everyone’s family and you know you’re going to leave full, happy, and maybe a little nostalgic. Now, I don’t even need a map. My feet just lead me straight back, no questions asked. If you want solid pizza and a welcoming, down-to-earth vibe without any fuss, Le Strittule is your place.
