Having arrived in Gradara for a trip to the castle, we stopped at the Mastin Vecchio for lunch. Very kind and helpful staff, we had lunch in a room overlooking the castle tower. We chose typical local dishes, the meat was excellent! We will be happy to return on our next trip to Gradara!

I went on Valentine's Day.
Very welcoming and very beautiful place.
Giant cold cuts cutter for 2 people. Never seen such a large cutting board.
Good firsts.

We had dinner with our children.
The restaurant is very well presented, quiet, well looked after and very spacious, it has a nice menu, we tasted various dishes such as lasagne, ribeye, fillet, potatoes and more.....the courses were really generous, especially finding the meat so good and cooked well is rare, honestly everything was impeccable, I rarely leave reviews but I felt obliged to do it this time because they deserve it, I absolutely recommend!!

Very suggestive and welcoming location, just outside the castle.
The fusion starters were quite good.
A sore point is the service, which was slow even though the place was not full: the starters arrived after 20 minutes, but above all the second course ordered from the beginning by one of our guests had not yet arrived after 40 minutes.
Therefore after this wait we told the waiter to cancel the order, as we had already lost our appetite.
After 10 minutes he returned with the dish in question saying that it had already been prepared by now.
Not wanting to insist, we paid without fuss, however we cannot say that it was a pleasant experience due to the long wait and the failure to respect the postponement of the dish.

Locale perfetto per una cena romantica , tra le mura del castello. Le pietanze sono tutte buonissime, dai primi di pasta sfoglia alla carne alla griglia... ma il top è sicuramente il dolce. Consigliatissimo

Stavamo cercando un locale a Gradara per un apericena o anche cena che fosse con una atmosfera ed una energia di qualità. All’entrata del castello tutto era chiuso ma abbiamo continuato ed abbiamo fatto davvero bene perché abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante che è davvero super. Locale davvero molto bello e curato, accoglienza da 5 stelle e servizio davvero professionale, siamo vegetariani ed abbiamo mangiato benissimo, crostini con un pane super, scamorza fusa e tartufo, tagliatelle al tartufo fatte davvero come una volta e ravioli pera e formaggio spaziali.. e per finire prezzo davvero ottimo.. che dire, torneremo con i nostri amici molto presto!
