Mastin Vecchio In Gradara

I returned today for lunch with friends after many years. The management has changed since then, but the quality and deliciousness of the offerings remain excellent. The location is breathtaking, with its medieval walls and views of the castle walls. The staff is professional and very friendly. The prices are in line with the quality offered. The entrance on the upper floor leads to a small room accessible without having to climb the numerous stairs throughout the restaurant, which is spread over several levels. It is therefore accessible even for those with limited mobility. In good weather, you can eat in the beautiful outdoor space, also perfect for events.

We went for dinner last night. The waiter was super polite and welcoming, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere inside Gradara Castle was very romantic. I'd definitely go back tomorrow!

The restaurant is huge, with many rooms, each more beautiful than the last, inside a well-restored historic building. We had a bit of trouble finding a waiter. The service was impeccable. The food was excellent. We loved having lunch here.

We've been coming to Mastin Vecchio for several years. The location is perhaps the most charming in Gradara, with a spacious outdoor terrace and tables nestled within the ancient walls of the building. Dinner is immersive and evocative. The menu is always very carefully curated, with a wide selection of meat and seafood dishes. I've tried various appetizers, first courses, and second courses, and the food has always been good, high-quality, and meticulously prepared. The same goes for the desserts. The staff has always been kind and very professional. I remember one evening they had problems in the kitchen and tried to notify everyone, except two (us and another table) who they couldn't reach. They kept the place open just for us! And despite the problems they had that evening, we ate wonderfully. Plus, the prices are fair for the location. For us, that's a guarantee!

On our way back from a hike on the Gran Sasso, we decided to stop and visit Gradara. We stopped for lunch and were truly satisfied. The service was fast, and Ivan was very kind and friendly. The dishes ranged from fried fish to a succulent first course with homemade pasta. The restaurant was very, very well-kept. Truly excellent.

We chose this beautiful location to celebrate our baby's baptism in May. Luca, the owner, is a very kind person who made every decision we made, both in terms of food and decor. The food was excellent and the portions generous. The waiters were always attentive to our every need. Thanks again.
