Recommended by people who live in Gaeta, we went there on a Saturday evening and this must be the problem, you should never go to a restaurant on a Saturday, however, a good restaurant and certainly with good food too, unfortunately the staff was a bit..... Stressed.

We dined at the recommendation of acquaintances, exceeding the online ratings.
Mussels and clams sauté, mixed fried fish, and a plate of pasta with various sides: all very good. The bread was also excellent.
When we asked for an extra spoon, the waiter obligingly placed it on a small plate, as is only right.
The cuisine and service were substantial, without frills or frills.

A historic restaurant in old Gaeta, tucked away in a small internal square.
Exquisite food and local ingredients. Their signature dish, the calamari, is a must-try.
Also try the sautéed truffles and the octopus alla Luciana.
The waiter Franco is an institution, courteous and professional.
The prices are fair, the tables are beautifully set and have tablecloths.
The trattoria has been there since 1920... and it will stay that way because it's one of the best restaurants in Gaeta. It's not a tourist spot; it's for locals who love good food.

Vuotapiatto assolutamente da provare, gustoso e diverso da tutti gli altri antipasti… le linguine all’ipata dicibile e il babà alla crema eccezionali … Alessandra ci ha accolto con cordialità consigliandoci benissimo, prezzo onesto….torneremo di sicuro.
