Mareluna In Bologna

The real atmosphere of a small Italian family restaurant. Tasty food, humorous service, thank you!

Pleasant evening with a friend, cool, clean, quiet place, friendly staff and informal but very cordial atmosphere. We ate fish, accompanied by good wine. Very convenient for public transport, normal price, definitely to return

The Mareluna restaurant, in my opinion, embodies two different trattoria models, both full of atmosphere and emotions: the Bolognese one and the Southern Italian one. The cuisine is a hybrid of these two traditions, from which it draws all the strengths, offering tasty dishes made with quality raw materials (you can taste it from the flavors!). An even greater note of merit therefore goes to the quality-price ratio and the quantity-price ratio: the portions are abundant and I appreciate, in particular, that each meal is accompanied by slices of focaccia or pizza. All at very honest prices. But the best thing about Mareluna is the staff, who make you feel at home and are always attentive to the needs of customers: over the years I have returned several times, the last one yesterday, and on each occasion I was welcomed with a smile, a chat and lots of courtesy. I felt teleported into the atmosphere of a slow world, which does not evoke easy nostalgia from the past, but resumes the good ways and good food. Let us keep Mareluna in mind as a model in this frenetic world: every corner of quiet and kindness is only to be appreciated.

English menu, but almost exclusively Italian food in the restaurant. The pizza and tagliatelle ragu were delicious.

What a surprise! We actually wanted to go to a place next door, after seeing it was closed. We walked into this fantastic establishment, Italian all the way. We might have gotten a menu, but before even being able to say our order the waiter had his recommendations ready. Maybe not for everyone, but he picked our food and we had no say (and I loved it). The burratina was godly, I have never tasted such an amazing cheese. What can I say food doesn’t have to be fancy to be incredible. For 50 euros we had everything, wine, primi & secundi and coffee. True authenticity, bravo!
