Maoji In Milano

The place is very nice and oriental style. Unfortunately we ended up at a marginal table and we were squashed and on very small stools. We had the beef noodles and rice with Mao's bacon: the noodles were really good, while the bacon was very different from ours and, in the long run, it was nauseating. The service was also not the best, all the dishes came out in no particular order, with pauses of several minutes between the arrival of one dish and the next.

La location e' semplice ma particolare ma sopratutto noi che siamo amanti della vera cucina orientale siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti della cucina propostaci. Finalmente sapori veri e non "italianizzati". Il menu' e' vario e le proposte invitanti e diverse dal solito riso cantonese. Torneremo sicuramente per assaggiare altre specialita'.

Very nice place, a little small, but with a nice atmosphere, good food and different from classic Chinese. Unfortunately they have two shifts and it's difficult to find a place at the last one, but there must be a reason!!

If you are looking for authentic Chinese, this is the place. Typical dishes, generous portions and real flavours, without Western adaptations. Watch out for spicy: it's really spicy, but irresistible! Simple environment and honest prices. Perfect for those who love unfiltered Chinese cuisine.

Environment: Chinese restaurant with a very particular environment inspired by the street food of an alley. The only major flaw of the environment are the extremely uncomfortable stools which made the stay less pleasant than it could have been; Food: The food is good and seems well prepared, the weak parts of this are: The menu is slightly confusing, some dishes are called the same or similar but this is the least of the problems, the price for some things is fair, for others excessive compared to the portion served. Service: the service itself is not particularly fast perhaps due to the Friday night crowd or perhaps due to disorganization but this goes unnoticed if you are in company while it can be burdensome if there are only a few of you; furthermore, the much-hated "shift strategy" that I hate is applied, with which you either book at 7.30 or at 9, after which if you have booked in the first time slot you are kicked out at 9 and in the second I suppose you can stay until closing; And if I wanted to go at like 8 what would I do? I'm neither a vacuum cleaner nor a chicken to be stuffed so we're really not there, the reservation is really used to reserve a table for myself, if I have to reserve it for a certain time because otherwise I have to gorge myself on food maybe it's better not to have the possibility of booking and first come, first served, remove this thing and everyone will surely be grateful, also because many times one doesn't spend 8 hours eating, but the mere fact of having this limitation really annoys me. Best Chinese restaurant I've tasted in the area. Truly Chinese cuisine, with influences from the Sichuan region. Excellent dishes, fast service.

We have been regular customers for a few years now. Good even if every now and then it happened that the food was not as good as other times - ordering the same things. Overall still good! Wide choice and strong flavours. Autumn aubergines are the highlight - if you appreciate spiciness.

Buonissimo ristorantino con location particolare e personale molto essenziale. Raccomando molto il ramen e la birra tipica.
