Mandarin Bar In Milano

we love the place and mandarin generally. it’s a consistent stop when we are in milan. fair warning: the charge for hot water and lemon was 10 euros, each! the negronis are less. When asked the waitress simply shrugged. i asked that they inform customers in future to be fair. i have never been charged for hot water and lemon to this level. highly memorable and a new level of hospitality.

Really elegant place and qualified staff. High prices, but justified by the service and location. I'll be back.

Lovely bar/restaurant. Very beautiful, elegant and modern. Excellent selection of wine and champagne. The food is very tasty and the service is wonderful. One of the favorite concoctions in Milan.

Food, Service, location everything excellent. Not a place for people who dont want to spend a lot, but for those who want, its a perfect cozy place. Cocktail was 28€ i think.

locale molto bello di design in una location unica. abbiamo bevuto del buon champagne a prezzi, tutto sommato, (molto tutto sommato) accettabili. inaccettabili, viceversa , i 34 euro per un twist bloody mary; altrettanto inaccettabile che non mi abbiano preparato un French 75 perché sono sprovvisti di champagne da mescita. finger food buono e risotto ottimo, ma ahimè a 32 euro each. prezzo comprensibile nell'adiacente 2 stelle Michelin Seta ma se ti chiami bistrot........... altra pecca mi si sottopone una selezione di whisky ne scelgo uno ottimo ma non mi si dice che costa 80 euro ( e il prezzo è plausibile) contro i 25/30 degli altri. per concludere, giudizio positivo ma occhio ai prezzi.

Afternoon tea not exactly British, there was no milk, sugar cubes as per tradition and a tiny portion of red jam and sour cream to be divided into three!!!

Aperitif with carefully prepared and original tastings by the chef. Excellent raw materials accompanied by the most original cocktails and the great classics. I will definitely be back for dinner.

Purtroppo non so quanto abbiamo speso, perché ero un’ospite, e non mi è stato consentito di accedere allo scontrino. È sicuramente un posto caro: per dire, nell’albergo cui il locale “appartiene” una camera doppia costa almeno 1600,00 euro a notte: almeno. Comunque, posto bello e tutto il resto, ma nei cocktails alcol non ce n’era proprio. Zero. Ora, non mi sembra giusto: la bellezza, il gusto, la particolarità di un cocktail sta anche, sebbene non solo, nel giusto dosaggio del o dei liquore/i che ne sono un po’ l’anima. Niente anima, dunque. Tanto ghiaccio, ma niente calore. Bah!

A relaxed but sophisticated evening. Dinner was beautifully cooked and presented and service fantastic. Very well looked after by the service staff. The setting was gorgeous. I'd possibly recommend booking Seta if you want a more formal dinner setting but I found the Garden stunning and just what we were looking for.
