It was a decent dining experience, but I wouldn't go back. Service was ok, but not overly friendly. The Florentine steak was fatty, full of gristle as well as overcooked and a bit tough. A bit underwhelming, which was a bummer to me. The carbonara was good. Overall not a bad experience, but not something to seek out, especially if you have your heart set on Florentine steak. Otherwise ambiance and atmosphere was nice sitting outside. I'm not sure if the Florentine steak was a one off or what, but looking at other's reviews, seems this place is hit or miss. I'm glad we didn't spend more here. I just wasn't really impressed. 🙁

It's been a very long 10 years since my last visit, but it was such a lovely homely restaurant with a very friendly manager, I remember it was my dad's birthday at the time and the manager/owner gave us a free bottle of house vino, and generally was a very good meal with pizza and pasta. My family are currently visiting right now so I hope they will visit here, I'm sure my dad will! Highly recommend!

In the middle of Florence there is a restaurant with very good cuisine and, surprisingly, not too expensive. Pizzas that live up to their name (€10). Pasta tastes just as good.
We have been here twice and will stop here for the remaining days. Service 100%, attentive without being intrusive.
We give this restaurant a 100% recommendation.
By the way, the wine is also good.

We booked to stay right next to this restaurant and we decided to try it rather than walk further away. Very popular place as it is right by the leather market. We both had beef. I had the steak strips with porcini and my husband had the pepper stew. We both ordered salad as a side but we could have shared one as it was a big plateful. Both were gorgeous meals and we would definitely recommend this as a place to go.

So good that we went back 2 nights in a row. Their ravioli and white bean tripe are excellent. In addition, every evening artists come to sing, which makes the meal even more picturesque.
