Mamma Mia is a two-faceted experience. The restaurant offers two distinct atmospheres: a casual veranda with placemats and a more classic interior with tablecloths. This writer was seated on the veranda twice.
While the food is of good quality—as is the wine list—the overall experience suffers from some flaws, primarily management-related. The music, kept at medium-high volume, is intrusive and disrupts conversation. Furthermore, I found the wine by the glass decidedly disappointing, a stark contrast to the wide selection on the menu.
Moving on to the dishes: the pumpkin gnocchi with parmesan fondue and speck were penalized by an excessive amount of pumpkin seeds; the thyme and lemon risotto, however, was well-balanced. The tasty beef tartare with quail egg and Dijon mustard ice cream deserves a special mention, while the zucchini carpaccio with lemon and ginger gel, pink peppercorns, and mint was completely negligible.
The desserts were a sore point: the "Pistacchiamisù" was awful, with no coffee and biscuits so hard they almost required a chisel to break; the wafer with custard and strawberries was unremarkable. In short, an experience that made me exclaim 'Mamma Mia!', but unfortunately, not always for the right reasons.

We arrived for lunch at Valentine's without a reservation and although there was a line ahead of us, we were seated fairly quickly. The service was efficient and courteous. We ordered all the dishes to share and everything was delicious.
The restaurant is not cheap. The meat is priced per 100 grams with the minimum being 300 grams for Wagyu and 1.2 kg for the rest. We chose Wagyu which justified the choice.
We found another place to return to in Rome!

Situated in an extremely good location, the restaurant impresses with its elegant decor and refined atmosphere. The steak selection is excellent, with a wide selection of premium meats and a high-quality wine list. The quality-price ratio is remarkable. The staff is distinguished by their professionalism and courtesy. The only thing that could be improved is the table layout, which is a bit too close together.

Among the best meat restaurants in Rome (perhaps the best of all...) excellent location in Parioli. Wide selection of excellent cuts of meat and meticulous cooking. Attentive and competent service. Number 1.

I don't understand the 4.2 rating; it should be higher. The slow-cooked Iberian pork ribs were absolutely delicious. I'm Spanish, and we know a thing or two about that. The truffle risotto was very good. I'll be back.

The truffle risotto was very good, but I was left wanting more from the dessert, which I found a bit small and not soaked enough for a pistachio tiramisu.
The welcome was pleasant, as they provided us with two portable heaters for outside.
