MamaGina Cafè & Bistrò In Brunate

The food was just okay, but the view was fantastic and the staff were friendly. It was cold so we ate indoors, but when I asked to move to a smaller table with a better view (which didn't seem to be the intended dining area), they happily moved us. We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful view :) I think the table charge was €3 for spaghetti 16 and water 3.50, so we paid a total of €22.50. Oh, I wanted to use the restroom, but the one downstairs wasn't very clean and there was no toilet paper. Some customers just had coffee at the bar and left :)

An amazing restaurant with fantastic food and a panoramic view of Lake Como! The Gnocchi was particularly delicious and our server was polite, friendly and very helpful. We accidentally found this place after walking to the Farro Voltiano but would recommend making a specific trip and planning to stop here.

Dear Giulia, I know that sometimes your work is hell and always smiling at the customer becomes a challenge, even when you want to strangle them... and that's why you deserve our respect. Giulia, I wish you the best of luck and offer you my personal compliments. It's clear from a mile away that you have patience even when you're tired at the end of the day. But allow me a tiny point: that damned table wouldn't stay still... it needed the "classic €100" folded underneath to keep it from "jiggling" with every little movement! But it certainly wasn't your fault. See you soon, "The Jamaicans"

A little favorite at the top of the mountain. With a superb view of the lake and neighboring villages. Excellent service from Momo and one of the best plates of pasta eaten in the area. Very good wines.

The ganassino con polenta was simple; the meat could have been more tender, and the polenta was too salty! And the sauce, simple in taste, didn't match the restaurant's beautiful setting. MamaGina's spaghetti was good, but it lacked other flavors and was undercooked. The waiters were a little cold, but luckily the setting was there.

Este restaurante en Brunate es una joya. Las vistas panorámicas sobre el lago de Como son absolutamente impresionantes, y el servicio fue excepcional de principio a fin. Disfrutamos de una comida muy bien preparada con ingredientes frescos, locales, platos destacados, incluyendo la pasta de trufa y pizza. La carta de vinos es impresionante y cuidada. ¿Y el tiramisú? Simplemente inolvidable, el mejor que hemos tenido. Visita obligada si estás cerca de Como.

Bien vale la pena el empinado paseo hasta la zona del faro. Tuvimos un almuerzo encantador (servido por Miguel Ángel) con vistas realmente impresionantes!
