I've been to this restaurant twice for dinner and had a wonderful time! The menu is good and the wine selection is truly remarkable. But beyond that, the owners' kindness takes precedence. They're welcoming, which is, alas, uncommon in Gorizia.

Filippo and his mom Katiusa are wonderful people, especially Katiusa, who is an excellent Italian wine critic, so her cooking is delicious 😋 I stayed at a hotel here for 3 days and ate here every day. You must try it!

We absolutely fell in love with this restaurant. You can genuinely feel that the owner and her son didn’t open it just to run a business — they do it out of pure passion. It almost feels like they choose ingredients without even thinking about the cost; everything is unbelievably fresh and prepared with so much care. The service was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The owner is a very renowned sommelier, and her knowledge and understanding of wine truly impressed me — I could listen to her talk about wine for hours. Her son, Filippo, is still very young, but extremely intelligent and charming; we all really liked him. Honestly, if you ever come to Gorizia, you have to dine here. You will not be disappointed. btw, I was so busy enjoying the food that I completely forgot to take photos of it.😂😂😂
