Maiseralm In Merano

A beautiful, secluded spot, away from the big huts. Fantastic Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes), friendly people, and the gentle tinkling of cowbells… we'd love to come back!

A very beautiful alpine hut with everything you could need. Easily accessible from the Falzleben parking lot.

The outdoor seating is very pleasant, while the interior is very rustic and smells a bit damp. At first, the landlady seemed a bit harsh, but then she became friendly. The food came very quickly, but we were the only guests. The Kaiserschmarren (smothered pancakes) was a bit too much like egg pancakes for me, but otherwise delicious. The bacon and cheese board were delicious, and the bread was generously sized with caraway seeds. Unfortunately, there was no hot chocolate available. I like that they also offer seasonal produce from time to time.

We stumbled upon this mountain hut by chance and immediately had a great time... thanks to Isaak, who let us play soccer with our kids. We had such a great time that we returned the next day... the welcome was wonderful, like seeing old friends again! The strudel, yogurt, and blueberry kaiserschmarren were fantastic. Congratulations, Isaak, and good luck on your future soccer adventure!

A beautiful, authentic cabin, away from the hustle and bustle of the larger cabins. Delicious food and friendly hosts. Highly recommended.
