We were lucky enough to try the "Marco Polo Journey" route, a truly extraordinary experience in this starred restaurant.
Each course was a discovery, a journey through unusual and extravagant flavors and combinations, all executed with skill and attention to presentation.
The dishes, in addition to being delicious, were also a pleasure for the eyes: a perfect combination of creativity and haute cuisine.
The venue is wonderful, with a unique design and style that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a true jewel from an aesthetic point of view, with attention to every detail.
The chef and his wife are lovely and hospitable people.
The chef, with passion and competence, told us some details about the dishes, allowing us to appreciate them even more, while his wife, very sweet and always smiling, could clearly be seen supporting him with love and dedication.
This special bond between them added a human touch that made the evening even more enjoyable.
At the end of the dinner, we had the opportunity to visit their "tunnel", a laboratory where they experiment with very interesting things, a fascinating and stimulating place.
And as if that wasn't enough, they also showed us their vegetable garden on the beach, a small paradise full of aromatic plants and perfumes, from which the chef draws inspiration for his dishes.
In conclusion, I was delighted by this experience, a place that transmits passion, creativity and warmth, and which absolutely deserves to be visited.

An exceptional experience. You can't describe it, you have to try it.
I chose the "Marco Polo journey" tasting menu. The staff was very careful in assessing my preferences and gave me very good advice, making me replace the pigeon with another dish.
Among my favorite dishes:
Bagdad - cream cooked with sea urchins, tahini, umeboshi and dates;
Aleppo - grilled oyster, Aleppo pepper and purple cabbage;
Teheran - Amberjack ceviche with hints of forest, partridge in soy and honey, enoki sauce and Chartreuse;
Balkh - Kebab of tuna belly, aubergine with hints of smoke and mango chutney;
The desserts didn't win me over, but I liked them.
Very nice place, nice, attentive and discreet service.
Gourmet dishes in adequate quantities.

08/20/2024 today I reread my review and I believe that what was written does not give justice to the true facts. Not knowing that the restaurant, or rather chef Cedroni, had become 2☆ Michelin, I review by saying that I am not happy with the fixed menu. Yet I always carry the restaurant in my heart, so much so that I recommend it to all my friends with refined palates! Exceptional dishes and friendly and kind room service. All that remains is to return to taste and delight in the authenticity of the chef!

Fantastic experience, the chef's dishes are executed to perfection and the courtesy of all the staff is of a level difficult to find in other places.
Congratulations to all the guys both in the dining room and in the kitchen, we had a great time! The environment is very well kept and the ability of the dining room staff to make you feel at ease is unparalleled! The tour in the adjacent laboratory is also beautiful! Abbiamo ricevuto in dono una cena presso questo famoso ristorante stellato ed eravamo un po' in soggezione prima di entrare. L'accoglienza è stata molto professionale e gentile, ci hanno accompagnato al tavolo aiutandoci a sederci e fornendo uno sgabellino per la borsa. La location è molto semplice, ma raffinata, con apparecchiatura minimal e tavoli privi di tovaglia. Il maitre ci ha fornito di menu ( senza prezzi ) dicendoci che avremmo potuto scegliere tra un percorso della tradizione o un altro alternativo, che spazziava dal Mediterraneo all'oriente. Abbiamo scelto la proposta che aveva studiato lo chef nel ricordo dei suoi 40 anni di attività e che ci è stata illustrata fin nei più piccoli dettagli da Moreno Cedroni in persona. Le portate sono state tantissime ( almeno 10 ), con porzioni che talvolta erano piccolissime, talvolta normali. Il servizio è stato velocissimo ed estremamente accurato ( basti pensare che prima dei dessert ci hanno cambiato i tovaglioli e i bicchieri dell'acqua ). I numerosi camerieri gentilissimi e sempre sorridenti ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio e hanno simpaticamente commentato con noi le varie portate. Ci siamo alzati da tavola completamente sazi e contentissimi di aver fatto questa esperienza particolare assaggiando pietanze molto studiate e perfezionate negli anni, mai mangiate in vita nostra. Nonostante le bevande non fossero incluse nella cena che ci era stata regalata, al termine non ci hanno fatto pagare le numerose bottiglie d'acqua che abbiamo consumato. Alla fine ci hanno anche fatto visitare il laboratorio, esterno al locale, dove vengono sperimentati nuovi accostamenti di sapori per creare piatti sempre innovativi e geniali.
