Tartare and carpaccio appetizers, and amazing steaks with a piece of rosticciana, half a sausage, and why not... a lamb rib... and the rest, but you have to go there to understand.
Prices are reasonable and never excessive.
Excellent. Great.

Good meat, good wine selection, excellent service, very casual place.
We spent €210 for four of us, which is reasonable, even if it's not among the best value places we've been to.

For one reason or another, I'm often in the Florence area, and this little restaurant has become a regular stop: exceptional meat, friendly staff, and fair prices. It's worth leaving the city to come here.

It was recommended to us by a friend, half an hour from Florence but it's worth trying.
A butcher shop that also has a grill next door in Sambuco, Tuscany, a few minutes from Florence.
As soon as we arrived, they sat us down right away. There aren't many tables, but they're well-divided. The service was excellent. We ordered a tartare tasting, a liter of house wine, and then we moved on to the meat. The owner recommended a good cut of meat, and he personally takes care of the grill, which is well displayed inside the restaurant. 1,950 kg of pure goodness. He comes to the table, presents it, and tells us the weight. Then, it's cooked in less than half an hour and the meat is ready. They serve it already cut into chunks so it's easy to divide. It's time to taste it. The first piece is a spectacular fillet, soft as a fillet. The second piece is a fillet that practically melts in the mouth. Aged for 30 days, it was cooked perfectly.
I thank the owners for this wonderful experience; they delighted us with their product.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat a good, non-commercial Florentine steak.

I visited Macelleria Francini and had a truly excellent experience. The restaurant combines the quality of a true Tuscan butcher with the care and attention to authentic cuisine, based on fresh, select ingredients. The meats are simply extraordinary: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Each dish showcases local tradition with a care that is evident from the first bite to the last. We tried a little bit of everything, but the antipasti crudo and the steak are among the best dishes I've ever eaten.
A special thanks goes to Serena, our waitress: professional, kind, and always available. Her warm welcome and precise recommendations made the dinner even more enjoyable. It's rare to find someone so attentive and passionate about their work. Ultimately, a highly recommended place for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Tuscan cuisine in an authentic and welcoming environment. I'll definitely be back!
