Excellent food, friendly staff, and a highly knowledgeable sommelier. The albacore prepared here is truly remarkable. If you're passing through Milazzo, it's worth stopping by, but make sure you book in advance.

Passing through Milazzo, we went to Macchianera with some local friends. The atmosphere is elegantly minimalist, the waiter is incredibly fast and answers questions about the menu, giving the unpleasant impression of being completely ignorant, and the chef is friendly. The food is excellently presented. The dishes offered were quite varied: the white and blue appetizer was very good, the paccheri with squid was mostly tomato sauce and didn't satisfy me at all, the seafood carbonara was excellent, the Marsala panna cotta was good but a bit too firm, and the wine list was good. Prices are above average. Overall, overrated.

Amazing place! If you like fish and more experimental Italian cuisine, this is your place. The food is amazing, the location is very nice and good service, plus they have a very cute dog. The egg is very good, the carbonara with swordfish is amazing too!
