Passing between the Costa dei Trabocchi and the first slopes of the Majella, perhaps in search of high-quality oil mills and pasta factories or charming villages, it is pleasant to stop at Lu Pennese. A place located right on the bend but with a fairly large parking lot in front; not at all flashy, it preserves excellent gastronomic traditions. One of these: his majesty the porchetta. There you can enjoy it at the table together with other simple and tasty dishes or by filling a sandwich to be consumed elsewhere. It is definitely worth a stop

Tutto ottimo. Niente fronzoli, ma non servono. Servizio veloce. Cibo veramente buono e autentico. Lo consiglio. Sicuramente tornerò.

Spartan place but the food was delicious, not to mention the amazing porchetta, to say the least, the best. Very soft, non-sticky and non-drying...truly a pleasure

If you want to eat porchetta from Pennese you have to go. Historic place and exceptional porchetta, I recommend calling first.

Typical tavern place, excellent food quality due to the very few specialties chosen on the menu.... Highly recommended if you are looking to eat porchetta with all the trimmings
