I returned after a long time (and found it renovated) and I was honestly a little disappointed. Both the service and the food (quality/price) could be greatly improved. I hope for more attention, especially when an "obvious problem" arises with the dish and is ignored with just a "I'm very sorry."

Great friendly staff and excellent sandwiches

I'm giving it a 4/5 rating because the rosetta with meatballs absolutely won me over! The ambiance is new, but I didn't quite understand the intent of the new concept. It's very dark, a soft-chic atmosphere that clashes a bit with the idea of ​​eating "scarpetta" with your hands, or the meatballs and grandma's ragù. Personally, I didn't like it; I think it had much more character when it was all pink than it does now. Service: The waiter was very kind, helpful, and attentive. He offered the appetizers while we waited for the sandwich. All in all, he was a competent, good guy! Food: I admit my initial rating was 3/5, meaning nothing particularly wow, just average, except that the rosetta with meatballs absolutely won me over!!! We had two appetizers, which were very good but too expensive. In this case, the quality doesn't justify the price. Let's say €1 or €1.50 less would be a fair price. €6.50 for two croquettes and €7 for the macaroni cacio e pepe seems a bit high. But they were still good. Next, we ordered a parmigiana rosetta, which could have been very good, but unfortunately the basil mayonnaise covered up the flavor of the parmigiana. Meanwhile, the meatball rosetta was simply wow! Delicious! One last note: I downloaded the app recommended by the super-kind waiter, but it probably doesn't support the latest iPhone update because there was no way to display the QR code. My husband, my wife, and the waitress tried, but it was no use. In the end, I had my husband download the app. Total spent €50 for two sandwiches, two appetizers, and a bottle of water. The meatball rosetta saved the evening!

I went back to Louis after they changed locations. To be honest, I liked it better before... both the food and the look of the place.

My family and I had a great time, both for the very kind and friendly, helpful staff, and for the food which was nothing short of incredible.
