L'Ottava Nota In Palermo

This restaurant was in the old city of Palermo and is a Michelin-Rated restaurant which proved to be in every way. Besides what we had ordered they served us appetizers made artistically in beautiful shapes and many side dishes which we had never seen such presentation and service before. The food was extremely enjoyable along with the complimentary items such as dessert and small pieces of bread cut in various shapes and forms. The dinner here was amazing, which we shall always remember.

Ritornare in un locale, in cui in passato ci si è trovati bene, è sinonimo di fiducia, stima ed affidabilità. È sempre un piacere, essere avvolti da un fascino visivo e gustativo dai piatti del menù,totalmente gourmet, elaborati con maestria frutto di ricercatezza ed attenzione alla stagionalità delle materie prime utilizzate. Ottima la sinergia tra lo chef Vladi Farina e la sua brigata , che assicura una lodevole attività imprenditoriale, oltre che enogastronomica. Perfetto servizio in sala, con 2 maitre, che hanno saputo accompagnarci gradevolmente, nel nostro percorso gustativo, presentando i vari piatti elegantemente in fine mise en place, spiegandoli impeccabilmente. Carta vini sempre al top, soprattutto la sezione dedicata alle bollicine doc, nazionali ed internazionali. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, contestualmentente ai ristoranti di egual livello.

Returning to a place where you felt good in the past is synonymous with trust, esteem and reliability. It is always a pleasure to be surrounded by a visual and gustatory charm from the dishes on the menu, elaborated with skill, the result of refinement and attention to the seasonality of the raw materials used. The synergy between the chef and the team is excellent, ensuring a commendable entrepreneurial activity, as well as food and wine. Excellent service in the dining room, with 2 maitre d's, who were able to pleasantly accompany us on our tasting journey, presenting the various dishes elegantly in a fine mise en place, explaining them perfectly. Wine list always at the top, especially the section dedicated to DOC, national and international bubbles. Good value for money, compared to restaurants of the same level

We had a great time. Excellent food - starting with the bread, which was truly special. Very attentive and welcoming service. Prices not cheap but in line with the quality. We are passing through but I hope there will be an opportunity to return.

Pleasant restaurant in the historic center, above all sfincione cod with caciocavallo fondue.

Uno de los mejores restaurante que hemos conocido. Ambiente minimalista y sofisticado. Gran atención. El chef, simpatiquísimo y Gran Chef. Desde el servicio de panes y aperitivos a los entrantes y platos de fondo, excelentes. La presentación de los mismos, todo un arte. Los sabores, una fiesta. No exagero, todos los detalles muy cuidados. Los postres y bebidas, mención especial. Si a eso le sumamos la relación calidad/precio, todos ganamos. No se debería pasar por Palermo sin visitar esta sublime Octava Nota. Felicitaciones!

Exceptional meal. We didn't leave a single crumb! We ordered a main course and a dessert each, and found them delicious. Small appetizers/pre-desserts are also served, and are very inventive and delicious. The recipes are original, well thought out and well presented. The waiters are very nice and helpful. Flawless, we recommend this restaurant!

Very chic place, soft lights, romantic. Sicilian menu, dishes too reworked for a lover of tradition like me. We tried several dishes, but the only thing I really liked was the green olive mayonnaise.

Lovely room, good table service team and excellent set menu. However, the kitchen was very slow - nearly 4 hours for the set menu and other tables came and went in that time. Portion sizes are not big.
