Ostu bistrot, the guarantee of a quiet evening with refined wines and dishes designed, cooked and prepared with great love for cooking. We tried to move away from tradition to try the innovation of sol.... it was a wonderful discovery, an explosion of flavors, colors and combinations that made us discover new dishes and new products. Our compliments go to chef Sol, who with his study and his love for cooking, brings true masterpieces to the table, to Francesco who with his professionalism makes the room a welcoming place and the customer is always the center of attention. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will definitely visit you again

I have dined with my wife in this splendid restaurant more than once and I must say that I always find it an exciting experience. Starting from our arrival where we were welcomed in a perfect way, for the entire duration of the dinner where the very competent staff accompanied the fabulous dishes offered with professionalism and a detailed explanation of what was present on the plate. In essence, a place worth praise where the cuisine, staff and location are impeccable. Congratulations to all the staff! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

26/02/2025: Tutto è perfetto qui, nell’ex dimora de “la Bela Rusin”, la moglie morganatica di Re Vittorio Emanuele II. I fratelli Piero e Ugo Alciati continuano la grande tradizione gastronomica del papà Guido riproponendo sempre in grande stile i loro piatti della tradizione. Per noi questa volta il menù da 85€ con un risotto al cardo gobbo che da solo valeva il viaggio. Poi agnello, finanziera, agnolotti da mangiare “a mani nude”, dolci strepitosi. Inutile sottolineare la cordialità e bravura del personale di sala perfetto anche nel consigliare i vini “giusti”.

05/03/2025: Places that really deserve to be visited; a simple kitchen, if you like, given the innovations we usually see lately but of a high standard. Competence and harmony lead the customer to feel good in a simple place in the heart of Novello, a few steps from Barolo. It's worth the trip! Highly recommended
28/02/2025: Truly fantastic, haute cuisine. Professional and pleasant service and a great view. This may well be one of the top 3 restaurants in the Langhe. Recommended. The village is also a worthwhile visit after dinner. I will be back
