This charming inn is located on a small street in the center of San Daniele. The osteria is truly beautiful, well-maintained, and the attention to detail makes for a truly enjoyable dining experience. The food is beautifully presented and pleasing to the palate. However, there is one small downside: since it's a very small place, their website specifies that reservations are recommended. However, I received no response to either my phone calls or my email reservation. In the end, we decided to stop by to see if we could dine, and we were delighted to be able to.

The atmosphere is nice, but perhaps too many tables, a bit cramped. The food was good, but the portions were very limited. For example, the mixed appetizer for two seemed like it was for one, and the main course was more of a side dish than a meat dish.

The raw San Daniele ham is excellent, and the cheek is unforgettable. The place is very charming, and the customer service is top-notch. We'll be happy to return.

Very nice restaurant in San Daniele with good wine and good food. Portions are rather small, but very tasty. One meal was forgotten, and as an apology, it was not included in the bill.

13/11/2025: Too few stars! I would like to give more... The only small complaint is that the _correct_ phone number was only found on the St. Martin's Day menu taped to the window (the friendly waiter found it right away behind the counter), so the website updates are lagging a bit behind. Go and try it - with time!
12/11/2025: It's a beautiful place, and you expect something special from it, but... the food is very mediocre: the beef, I asked for medium, was raw and rare, EVEN after cooking it a second time! The stewed duck was okay, but nothing special, and I didn't like the frika at all. And the vegetables baked in cheese were a nightmare: sour, bitter greens, carrots, and a bunch of cauliflower. Horrible!!! The presentation is okay, but the taste... in general, for charmed tourists and people who don't appreciate food. Never again!!! Bottom line: minus 82€ and a ruined mood.
