I'd sum it up as an excellent lunch! The staff were very friendly, and the girl who served us was really nice. The place was beautifully renovated and very pleasant. They also have a small selection of products for sale, all little gems. As for lunch, we had a little bit of everything, and everything was just the right amount and well-prepared. Nothing to complain about. Of course, there was also the prosciutto, which was delicious, but what the hell am I going to tell you? We also tried, just to make sure we didn't miss out on local tradition, the cjarlons (is that how you spell it?) and the frico, both delicious! I would absolutely recommend it.

"L'OSTERIA TANCREDI," San Daniele, Friuli, as part of a gourmet tour through Northern Italy: A wonderful little restaurant in the heart of the village! We were treated to the finest Prosciutto San Daniele, the local signature dish "Tagliolini," and fine beef tartare. Accompanied by a matching Italian red wine and an absolutely delicious tiramisu. Make a reservation! Excellent food!

An excellent discovery during a business dinner in San Daniele del Friuli. The restaurant is informal, elegant, and welcoming, near the small town's Basilica. The restaurant isn't very large, so reservations are recommended. We dined outside, where there are a few tables along the very quiet street. The dishes offered are excellent, typical of local cuisine. Service is prompt, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are average, and the menu offers a varied selection. The wine cellar is good. Highly recommended, one of the best restaurants in San Daniele del Friuli.

The food is worthy of a Michelin star! Simply amazing, an explosion of flavors in every bite. The quality is worth the price!
The staff was also very helpful; the gentleman explained the differences in the dishes to us in English and made recommendations. We chose the typical dishes from the region and couldn't have chosen better.
We recommend booking a table in advance as the place is very popular.

locale caratteristico, con tavoli ben disposti. Servizio cordiale e rapido. Una certezza i taglieri di prosciutto. Consigliatissimo il guancialetto brasato. hanno anche la birra analcolica. Da provare la cioccolatosa come dolce.
