L'Osteria di Tancredi In San daniele del friuli

Last night's experience disappointed me in the final part, and I'll explain why, 6 of us arrive quite early in San Daniele, around 6.30pm, after looking around a bit we choose this place for a ham tasting. At the entrance they ask us if we have booked, to our negative response, they ask us to be patient so they can prepare a table, everything is going well, nothing to complain about the food or even the bill. What bothered me was the invitation to leaving the table free because it had already been booked previously, something they hadn't informed us about, we would have chosen another place of which San Daniele is full...

Excellent place to enjoy typical local dishes

A tasteful niche near the Cathedral of San Daniele del Friuli. A truly welcoming place where you can taste delicious typical Friulian dishes. Special mention for the tagliolini with San Daniele, they could be addictive! Congratulations, highly recommended tavern, we will definitely return when we return to San Daniele.

A small but very warm and welcoming place, it offers Friulian cuisine but revised and with attention to the smallest details from quality to appearance, as well as tastings of the typical raw ham of San Daniele. Prices in line with the quality offered, very kind and smiling staff. Given the size of the venue, booking is recommended. I will definitely be back!!

Very intimate and well-renovated environment, attentive staff, good food and nice wine list

In a small street near the center. Wonderful and quaint little place. Friendly staff. It has indoor and outdoor tables and two other tables in the shop opposite. Having a Bernese mountain dog, they let us sit in the latter. Very quiet and very spacious. Speaking of the food, the quality is really high. Frico is something out of space! The raw San Daniele doesn't need reviews... delicious! Very acceptable prices... top quality/price ratio! Highly recommended!

We were a few days ago in this splendid and welcoming restaurant. Excellent food quality and very refined choices. I would just like to make a constructive clarification regarding the service. Starting from the assumption that I also work with the public and have my own business, I would recommend greater attention regarding staff. The evening we stayed the waitress was very cold and very rigid in her attitude. I noticed that he often looked at his watch as if he was in a hurry to close. I also believe that at the time of the telephone reservation it was she who told my partner that the kitchen closed at 9pm as if to tell us that our arrival at precisely 9pm was at the limit. Now, I understand that this job is demanding, but in a small restaurant like yours I don't think the waitress is under stress. Therefore my advice is to carefully evaluate who to hire because very little is needed to bring the initial, very positive impact to a sufficient level. Visitando San Daniele, fra le viuzze del centro storico, si nasconde questa osteria friulana dai sapori autentici. Inutile esaltare la bontà del prosciutto e dei tagliolini! Merita provare anche la trota friulana. Ottimo il salame all’aceto con cipolla e polenta. Davvero un pasto eccezionale e un tuffo nella tradizione!

Ristorante piccolo ma ben curato. Crudo di alta qualità servito coi sotto aceti e formaggi. Tagliolini col crudo strepitosi! Buonissimo anche il frico. Servizio ottimo. Ambiente molto accogliente. Consigliatissimo.
