Good restaurant with delicious food and ditto wine.
It is not big so booking in advance is recommended.
It is handy to park the car outside the center and then walk 5 minutes to the restaurant. It is always nice to take a walk after dinner, let the food settle nicely.
The service is good and English speaking.

A little gem in San Daniele, we started with an excellent prosciutto appetizer (obviously hyper-local) and a burratina from Aviano (new to me, but good...), exceptional figomoro crostone as well as tagliolini with San Daniele and the very fragrant Friulano wine.

Osteria in the center of San Daniele del Friuli, offers traditional and non-traditional dishes.
It is possible to taste San Daniele ham as well as other typical cold cuts and cheeses.
There are some first courses and some second courses, a not too vast and well-curated menu capable of satisfying all palates.
Average prices.
Friendly and efficient staff, fast and precise service.
Nice place inside with some seating outside.
Opposite there is a wine shop, still owned by the same owners, with other tables.

Four of us had dinner last night. Waiter doesn't speak English - no problem - a really nice person who does his job very well. We managed everything - really great staff in a pleasant atmosphere. Everything was really well prepared. The wine recommendation was perfect. The price is really good and reasonable.

L'osteria Di Tancredi is highly recommended, from the service to the main courses to the dessert, everything is top. The restaurant is cozy and you feel absolutely comfortable.

A lunch to remember! I was with my wife on April 5th, she was seven months pregnant, I had a tasting of seasoned raw ham as an appetizer (so as not to write inaccuracies, I don't specify the months), she had some au gratin asparagus, both of us had tagliolini with San Daniele raw ham as a first course, and to conclude the frico. Everything was delicious, the attention of the staff was commendable, and I would also underline the attention given to my pregnant wife, with the preparation and handling of the ingredients contained in the dishes to allow her to eat in absolute safety given her state. A pleasant chat with the owner, who, as it was our first visit, also gave us a discount as a new customer! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Locale non grandissimo, con due sale divise da un vicolo. Molto curate e pulite, la seconda sala un po’ freddina nonostante la stufetta.
Piatti curati, gustosi, consigliata la battuta di scottona, i piatti con il prosciutto di San Daniele Coradazzi e i dolci. Ottima selezione di vini.

Per chi, come me, non ha facilmente accesso al crudo di San Daniele al supermercato, a patto di pagarlo a peso d'oro in qualche gastronomia parigina, questa cena a base di prosciutto è stata sensazionale.
Locale piccolo e accogliente in cui si beve anche molto bene.
Vorrei tornarci presto.
