An Authentic Tuscan Gem: The Perfect Stop Off the Highway This is exactly the kind of restaurant you hope to discover after a long road trip. Found by chance on the way from Rome to Milan—just three minutes from the highway exit—it turned out to be a true gastronomic gem. The menu offers the best Tuscan tradition: from fresh homemade pasta to hearty dishes like the excellent pappardelle with wild boar. The meat, expertly grilled (we tried an impeccable Fiorentina), is of the highest quality. Crostini toscani and esoteric cured meats! All this is accompanied by an excellent red wine from the local selection. The meal ends beautifully with a classic and well-executed tiramisu. A complete culinary experience and highly recommended for those seeking authenticity and flavor.

13/01/2026: An unforgettable romantic dinner featuring refined and tasty dishes, quality local wine and a pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful view (weather permitting)
28/12/2025: Pleasant return Christmas lunch, a pleasant location, well-decorated with attention to detail, comfortable chairs, and just the right amount of space at the carefully set table. The menu included a delicious appetizer of broccoli flan on pumpkin cream, a potato wafer and a slice of Prato mortadella, a brioche bread with liver pâté and delicious Vin Santo, two first courses: a radicchio risotto with Parmesan cream, an excellent combination, paccheri with flavorful sausage ragù, a delicious guinea fowl breast stuffed with artichokes on a bed of fennel cream, and a wine-braised beef, my least favorite of the lunch, all accompanied by Montepulciano red wine. To finish, a Bavarian coffee dessert, with coffee, a wafer, and delicious blueberry ice cream, Moscato, and coffee. The service was excellent, with the owner being very kind and attentive.
