L'Osteria della Chianina - Buffalmacco In Monte san savino

If you are traveling on the A1 around lunch or dinner time, don't go to the motorway service station but stop in this beautiful osteria. Here we go and eat excellent meat at more than fair prices. Also worth trying is the amazing Fantacalcio tiramisu with vinsanto and cantucci. Friendly and helpful staff, fast service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Wir waren hier zu einem Mittagessen auf der Fahrt Richtung Kalabrien. Nahe an der Autobahn und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Netter Innenbereich, große Terrasse. Gegessen wird hier Chianina-Fleisch vom Grill. Grosse Portionen und perfekt zubereitet. Die Pasta ist hausgemacht, die Paprdelle mit Wildschwein sind ein Gedicht ! In Anbetracht Lage, der moderaten Preise sowie des freundlichen Personals eine sehr gute Empfehlung für ein Mittagessen.

Genuine Tuscan cuisine with appetizers, first courses and top grilled meat

Comfortable place, a couple of minutes from the motorway exit. Friendly and fast staff, Chianina not exactly satisfying, not very tasty but soft. Really good side dishes and desserts and well-assorted wines. Good prices if you don't take meat or bottled wines.

Everything perfect, I passed 02/04. Update the menu prices, because I paid 8.20 euros for the steak...

Excellent meat and classic local cuisine. Very convenient parking even for vehicles such as trucks, lorries etc. The place is very clean and the service is welcoming.

The meat was good then. We took a Florentine steak. The potatoes were good too. Maybe due to the type of restaurant which is a bit expensive. It is a passing tavern frequented mainly by truck drivers. Suffice it to say that I was the only woman in the room besides the waitresses. Pose at the Gourmet restaurant. also no.. all in all it's not bad but I definitely prefer the Podere Le Caselle which is a little further on

Buffalmacco is undoubtedly one of the most worthy restaurants in the Valdichiana Aretina. I am a regular visitor, the counter offers steaks of various breeds expertly selected by the owner Mr. Davide, they are perfectly matured, cooked in wood-fired embers and served at the table in a brazier which keeps the temperature constant. I recommend the "black white" which is something truly special. However, it is impossible not to taste the fantastic first courses, worthy of note is their carbonara and the famous pici all'aglione from Valdichiana. To finish the sublime Tiramisu which is a fantastic experience :). Absolutely excellent prices, very kind and attentive service, in short, no negative notes other than PRAISE PRAISE PRAISE! ps: I think the only place in Tuscany that has the very welcome Piedmontese amaro "San Simone", fantastic for closing the dinner. Attention!: the restaurant is closed on weekends, from Monday to lunch-dinner service until Saturday including lunch.

Abbiamo cenato in questo locale con un collega e siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dalla qualità del cibo, locale molto semplice ed alla buona però anche molto buono, prezzi in linea con la tipologia di location. Consigliato
